    I'm gonna chalk this up to the CUNY system maybe being retarded, but when I tutored people who had to take the COMPASS math tests(remedial shit pretty much), I was told that apparently PEMDAS is not PEMDAS, but P-E-MD-AS. Newsflash for me but that's how I had to teach people I was told.

    I was only briefly told about remembering PEMDAS, but I was drilled into my brain that for subtraction/addition and division/multiplication it's always always always left to right.

    That's because it IS P-E-MD-AS, I dont understand how everyone else didnt learn this in 6th (actually maybe 5th?) grade like I did.
