Well even if you don't care for PewDiePie, tonight he is having someone on from Hello Games. More vidya people in the media is fine with me.

Trevor Noah, the host of "The Daily Show," underwent an emergency appendectomy Wednesday morning which will cause him to miss Wednesday night's broadcast, according to Comedy Central.
My dad was in the hospital a lot more than 1 night from his appendectomy, surprised he'll be back so quick.
It depends quite a bit on how quickly they catch it. That said only missing one day following any kind of surgery is a little nutty.
My ex-girlfriend had an emergency appendectomy and was only out for the day of the surgery and some of the next day.
On the other hand, when I had mine removed it had already burst and I was in the hospital for four days and stuck on the couch at home for two more.

Jon Stewart has a new home: HBO.
The former Daily Show host has signed a four-year production deal with the premium-cable network and will kick off the pact with the creation of topical short-form digital content.
The pact will see the short-form digital content showcased on HBO Now, HBO Go and other platforms. Also included in the pact is a first-look option for other film and TV ventures.
He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.
Between the Maher interview and the AcroCats, Monday's Late Show was one of the most cringeworthy hours of television I've seen in a long time.
The Maher interview was entertaining as hell to me lol
Took me like 3 days to realize this post was in the wrong thread.
Larry Wilmore's "Nightly Show" cancelled by Comedy Central. Final show is on Thursday, 8/18.
I wish he could have gotten away from the panel discussions. Everything else about his show was pretty good.
Tells you how bad of a position the daily show is. They didn't get nominated for an emmy this year for the first time in a long while. Samanatha Bee got nominated though.
I never liked those panels either, a lot of the people on them I found too annoying to watch. Whenever I watched it it was always black people this and black people that, I wanted to see/hear about others too.
For the daily show, the news team seems to do more than what they did when JS was running it, and their stuff is really hit and miss for me
Never really clicked with Wilmore anyways. I don't know. He just seemed to "be there."
The panels turned me off TNS pretty quick. Early on they had one about vaccines and as soon as I heard an 'anti-vac' speaker introduced I was out.
I thought satire was supposed to get away from this false balance thing.
I definitely agree with the dislike for the panel but I thought Larry himself was way funnier than Trevor Noah. Also, that's a good point about seeing stuff about someone one else than black people. Colber and JS had a good mix of bits about different stuff and sometimes they had guests on that they not necessarily agreed with. Nightly show guests seem to be just people who agree with the rest of the panel and it's more of rant than a discussion.
And, I'm really tired of both shows just constantly talking about Trump. I don't care if you think he's a dumbass or a messiah I'm just bored with the jokes
Not really a surprise, Trevor just reads what the scriptwriters wrote, Sams show is great.
I actually didn't like sam bee on the daily show - she felt like "jon 2, with tits", and having 2 of the same characters wasn't very good.
On her own she's great because her snark really comes through as her own, and not just a jon copypasta.
