Edit: nvm steam says 16th... so I guess it'll be up in 30?

I would like to buy asap so I have two more accounts for mog bonanza
Yeah, a friend of mine is wanting to buy this and has no idea where it will be posted when it is available. =/

for EU
edit: I think gamesplanet is bugged or something.
I bought FINAL FANTASY XI Ultimate Collection 2 weeks ago, now it lists it as
FINAL FANTASY XI Ultimate Collection - Abyssea Edition
Currently I'm in work, will check later for the little chance that SE might gave away free abyssea editions for those who bought ultimate collection recently.

Best I could find.... God damn it wanted to pick up a Traverser Stone before work![]()
Anyone knows if existing players who buy this Collection get the 30 free days too?
Product overview mentions them, but I'm not sure if this will work if you already have an account
Playonline's online store still doesn't list the abyssea edition. Why does SE make it so hard for me to give them money?
Hopefully there'll be a news post later today that dictates all the available locations to purchase from. Waiting for it to be on Steam here. ;/
I figure it would be up at the opening of business hours today, but its almost noon, and as of right now the JP site is the only one with the update to just click a buy button (playonline.com/ff11/index.shtml), right there on the front of there playonline page right under system messages. No other site even mentions them even having the product listed, other then amazon.com which has a TBD date of release.
Has anyone payed for an EU or JP copy and used the copy of the CD key on a US or otherway around system? just in case the US side of the marketing department just didnt feel like selling anything this week.
CD keys are region-locked to the region of the account, and you have to use their native client for any account management or information changes. If you get a JP key, you get a JP account you have to manage in JP POL Viewer, and you have to pay with a method that is accepted in Japan. If you don't have a credit card from a Japanese bank, you MUST use WebMoney. American banks don't respond fast enough to clear billing on their credit cards as of the end of 2008.
It's up on Amazon. Not up on anything else yet.

It's now also on Direct2Drive. Looks like it's slowly coming up on other places.
Up on steam now.
What would be the easiest way to purchase and just get keys, without having to download anything?
Yes, steam, I'm looking at you. -.-
I used Direct2Drive and they just sent me an e-mail with the keys.
Another note, it took me forever to figure out where to put them if you are just getting a few expansions.
Service and support>Membership>Expanded services registration>Use the code on any random one, then it will ask if you want to one-time register them all.
Seems like SE phased out the non-Abyssea releases also. Guess it's for preventing customer confusion?
At this point in time I'm surprised they're still charging $10 for all the expansions/add-ons from POL invididually.
I'll play the devil's advocate here and ask, since I've been away from the game for a while.
If I recently reactivated and my FFXI is completely patched up, do I need to download the game itself or just use the keys? I honestly can't remember how it worked for the last one I bought before my hiatus (first abyssea).
I used amazon and it was pretty smooth buying two of them. Shows both keys under Your Account > Your Games & Software Library
