The tower defense game is such bullshit. Every time I play I completely own the whole thing until the very end when they bring in the battering ram that blows through all of your barriers in 2 seconds and you can barely scratch it with anything except the cannon fire. Then it rapes my outpost almost immediately and all I can do is hit it with my peashooter. Then I have to take the tower AGAIN which shoots my templar awareness back up. Ugh.

Exactly. My last one shit died before they got to the barricade, then the battering ram came and killed all 3 barricades. Then when the battering ram was amost dead and outpost at almost full health and I go "finally", 100 soldiers came and brought it down in mere seconds.

God damn, I've only just started playing the game and 2 minutes into gameplay I get a bug, then a console crash -.-.

when it gets to the battering ram sell your units at the front as its the final wave and move them to the end to keep up the damage, also load units everywhere you can the whole way, its a total bitch either way though

I had no problem with the tower defense type thing and I didn't even use my cannon at all because I wanted the achievement. I just loaded up on walls and the riflemen. The ram was down before my last wall fell.

Have only been doing multiplayer so far. Really need to learn the new icons/avatars. I spent like 2 minutes looking for one last night and ended up being totally different than what I thought. ><

Been doing multiplayer as well. Maybe it might be my connection or the fact that I was playing late as hell at night with people possibly from other countries but the latency seemed slightly off.

Also been raging because you don't get access to your first defensive ability til level 9 while they match make you with people who are like level 30-40 when I'm barely past level 10. Why would they put you at such a disadvantage like that?

Edit - Steal the artifact is soooooo addicting.

Just scored the ishak pasha armor in sequence 5 and god it's hot. The difference stereoscopic 3D makes is so substantial I couldn't possibly play without it. In 2D it looks exactly like brotherhood (vomit) and in 3D it looks like AC2 but better! Oh and screentearing is nonexistent, yay! If you're a hardcore fan of the series AC: R is a thing of beauty, especially in stereoscopic 3D.

Edit - Steal the artifact is soooooo addicting.

Haven't been on MP since the beta but yeah, steal the artifact was the most fun mode...especially if you got good team members that actually communicated and knew what they were doing.

I'll finally have a full day off tomorrow to play the story mode. So far I've mostly just been running around, unlocking the map, buying up properties, and leveling up my assassins while my money piles up.

beat the game yesterday, now to work on multiplayer and finishing up some single player achievements, story went where i expected and was satisfied

Anyone know a better way to kill your underlings? I'm stuck on 11/12 assassins because this shit is gay, and i have all my guys 10+. I"ve sent all the lowest levels on the hardest missions possable with 30% chance of a win... 6 times now.... every fucking time they come back successful....

send all your other ones on a mission, then go into a contested area with like 30 enemies and call them out and dont assist them, let all the guards slaughter them

You don't have to kill them. Send some to occupy a city; it will free up spaces for new assassins to be recruited.

To do this, capture a city and press square on PS3 (x on 360 I think?).

so how well is this game doing sales wise? everyone I know has decided to skip this game, including me. the cliffhanger in Brotherhood was too wtf to get me excited about this story, and I don't feel the need to play Assassin's Creed II 3 when Assassin's Creed II 2 came out only a year ago.
