I join their pickups for fun sometimes, and this is but a mere sampling of what usually happens. This wipe happened just before the Dynamis update. Naturally, we failed to kill DL with 18 people:

It took 4 pickup Xarc runs to get it, but I associate warm memories such as this one with my RDM AF2 hat.

I retired BRD at 75 since I had to play it so damn often for merits and events. I'm free and happy these days! Then, this seemingly innocent remark caused all those old memories and frustrations to bubble up to the surface:

I've been paitent with PUGs for years now but doing Bukhis wings made me decide to never do anything that matters with a PUG again.

I used to enjoy it; merit parties were fun because it's like omg you constantly are doing something. In EG/Abyssea, I tend to end up singing my songs and sitting back to toss a cure or god forbid maybe a haste. It gets boring, and since I don't have exceptional melee gear for my BRD (See: 24% haste since I don't have Goli isn't too bad and I look like an old-school WAR, but WS build lacks severely) and even if I did people wouldn't let me melee, well... not much gets done. Only time I like playing BRD is when I want to be lazy for the majority of an event (i.e. tired or sick) and can just sit around watching everyone else farm pops and pay attention for only the NMs.

So yeah. BRD isn't any fun for me anymore. ;~;

Didn't take pics, but went to farm some Amarok KI's today in the afternoon, JP group was there. Out pop them all 3 times, after the first they begin crying about calling a GM for use of a trade macro(I just put stuff like that at the top of my inventory when it comes to multi pops). Continue crying, we get our KI's and take a break for lunch. Come back, we see the JP group fighting. They wipe at 1%, we claim, 2 free claws. We figure they're done so we check out the other group, come back and see their WHM brewing Orthrus, weakened, using Sunburst. He eventually dies at 54%, we claim, 2 more free claws. Of course more threats of GM calls throughout.

Went to LaTheine to farm some Bria pops for a friend's Kannagi. As we were finishing up our last few KIs, a friend of ours comes out and alliances us for TE. Soon he spots a group zombie'ing Carabosse so naturally I have to see this.

just posting a troll thing to do to gimps when they kill carabosse. its benedictions hit other cara's so if your killing it quick enough you can make a slower group rage by pulling your cara near to theirs after its 2houred and doing this multiple times is priceless.

Pulling it on top of theirs is kinda dickish, I agree, unless they were being dicks first for some reason. Fighting multiple carabosses on top of each other right at the spawn however... is just stupidity.
