The guys seems retarded, but his points aren't really wrong. NIN tanking takes more skill than MNK tanking (not that much more, but more nonetheless), and just look at the voidwatch thread, it's practically filled with "DD NIN tank sucks now, you need 7 ochain+aegis PLDs to kill any NM" mentality.

Pretty much what Kohan said, while you can play a MNK with a pretty laidback attitude, the good MNKs gear swap in -PDT and -MDT constantly and it's not much of an AFK tanking job. You can find a shitty MNK and I can probably easily find a shitty NIN who doesn't have an eva set, -PDT/-MDT set, etc. None of these things really qualify as 'skill' to me, unless having basic knowledge of your job is skill in which case I guess I'm skilled at this game. This person is also the type who thinks that they need to only be good at one job(yes there are people who still think like this apparently) so it was just entertaining to see them say stupid things like the selected portion.

Despite the rhetoric of these forums, it's quite obvious when you're playing with a skill versus an unskilled player. Unfortunately, most people don't encounter those players because they play comfortably. Get yourself into a bind and see who reacts best. Those are your skilled players. It does take knowledge, but you need quick reaction as well since there are time limits towards beneficial actions. These rarer situations are when you can distinguish the skilled players.

Not only ninjutsu skill, but katana skill, great katana skill, dagger skill, sword skill, club skill, polearm skill, staff skill, evasion skill, and parrying skill. MNK, however, only takes h2h, club, staff, evasion and guard. Clearly NIN takes twice the skill of MNK!

But on a serious note, I think Yugl hit the point nicely. Skill in the game is mostly in being able to react to bad situations, some of which are strictly timed. MNK has a pretty massive HP buffer over other jobs, especially NIN, and as such has more time to react. Thus, it requires less skill.

Apparently there's a linkshell on bismarck with 531 members. With the money one being rather "wtf" in its wrongness, the only impressive stat there is the 23 member shell on asura with 7 mythics. Maybe the two odin shells with 6 mythics and 43/57 members.

I thought the max gil on a character was 999,999,999, which would put a 43 person ls at a max of 42,999,999,957, which is well short of the amount if it were missing a k. I've never had anywhere near that amount, so I dunno if they changed it or what.
