I've been on Quetz since the beginning, so I don't really know anything else, I suppose, but this sort of banter has always struck me as bluster more than anything else.

It was a beautiful evening when I returned from my loss of connection. As I greeted my my old acquaintance, the Cruor prospector, to gain the holy buffs I couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding in the air. This lead to my distraction and I found myself amongst the clusters at the sixth conflux of Misareaux Coast. When I regained my senses I found my way back to the fifth conflux where I was meant to meet my comrades in arms to vanquish the evil of a giant Orobon. It was there, amongst the fierce flies, that I met him. It was love at first sight. Cirein-Croin was having an identity crisis as it was wandering aimlessly with a white name near the conflux. I did what any gentlemen of my standing would do and guided it back to the right path. It was then that I started receiving a message from a certain gentleman of Japanese descent condemning me for that kind gesture. The conversation went as follows:

May I add that the gentleman in question was wielding a decorated pair of daggers commonly known as auric dagger and rapidus sax.

It was fun, because he decided to stick around even after we killed it to laugh randomly at us. I have seen plenty of people going emo over a white NM, but I have never heard of a group that laughs at you while you kill their NM.

While I know there are plenty of NA assholes, JPs in Abyssea are just fucking terrible to deal with most of the time. I love how he comments on your weapons like that's relevant to HIS group losing an NM, I dunno why people somehow think that's a viable tactic, even while mad.

The funny thing is that I wasn't using a terrible weapon per se; a Widomaker (working on Ukonvasara eventually). But it is still much better than an auric/rapidus sax THF.

But I shouldn't have posted this here. He has a real GM friend (as opposed to imaginary) and he will not hesitate to list up yours.

Edit: he just switched to DRK:ace's helm, ares's cuirass, +2 legs/feet and shadow mantle. Oh, my eyes
