You can get Augmented daggers from an NPC for Dom points in Abyssea. Can get up to 6% crit on each. And theres a Crit 10% dagger from Dynamis.

Still nothing wrong with Vulcan's Staff if you're not /NIN and don't need Mekki for an X-hit >.>

Unless the 10% crit dagger doesn't apply to bow (I'm assuming it does because otherwise it wouldn't have been brought up) then that should always be better than vulcans regardless of sub.
