JSOC or Joint Special Operations Command or also known as "The Activity" is a clandestine military intelligence unit. They have been working in the 'global war on terror' since 2002. Mostly in Yemen as "trainers" to Yemeni army. What they mostly are are ground troops for covert operations of taking out AQAP members. JSOC were the ones conducting predator drone attacks in the middle east. Since 2009 I`ve read jsoc doesnt need the Presidents approval or report to congress on a regular basis. the Joint Unconventional Warfare Task Force Execute Order allows for this. So really Osama may have been killed without the President`s knowledge or approval, but is telling the media he did for political points.

Hate to be a downer but I dunno something just never felt right about this, I really can`t explain it..
