I don't know why people say that Obama has anything to do with this. He's not the one who killed Bin Laden.
So, he's dead. How does this exactly change anything? Took ten years and hundreds of casualties to kill a single man. I don't know whether it's a good reason to rejoice or not.
Obama gave the orders. He's not the one that killed the guy, but he'll be forever seen as the person that "got the job done". You have to remember no matter what happens, good or bad in a presidency, he will take all of the credit. It's a time to rejoice because it effectively closes a chapter in many American minds after 9/11.
The guy ( @ReallyVirtual ) who 'accidentally' livetweeted the assassination from Pakistan is hilarious.
More can be found @NYTIMES. Twin Towers Orphan Fund also receiving a lot of traffic tonight. http://www.ttof.org/html/
lol, appreciate the copious retweets so I don't have to sift through his feed, twitter is bringing my computer to its knees.
Recorded reactions being sent to YT from all over the country, lots of military academies and schools: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...DFD7AB4F62C4A0
Just got back from the white house, I think a lot of people were pre-gaming the celebration lol
Just realized someone from my guild announced Bin Laden was dead at least 45 minutes before it broke on tv
protip: gas prices are still $4.10 here. fuck
Gas prices where I live in Oregon are still like $3.80, and this state requires the attendants to do the pumping by law. Obama should send those navy seals after exxon and them next.
The conservatards are so bitter that a democrat president could do this.
Hey guys, I guess we can only be patriotic if the president is a republican.
So now what excuse will they use to keep all the soldiers overseas?
Osama buried at sea? Good thing 3k people didn't get a proper one.
