Just because I lack the same type of blood lust doesn't mean I'm not glad Bin Laden is dead. But, its naive to think his death will somehow slow-down or hamper Al Qaeda in any way. The only thing that will affect them is prioritizing good intelligence, good police work, allied cooperation, etc. NOT military muscle or drone strikes that kill more civilians than terrorists. Those actions only breed terrorists.

You just can't win with some people. Any "evidence" you need for proof could be faked. Really, there is no difference between reading it across the bottom of CNN or getting all the evidence the government can muster as they hold almost the same value. You would need to be one of the guys in the raid pulling the trigger for you to know for sure, and with some people they'll always defend it being a conspiracy forever unless they actually were there. New evidence? Eye witness accounts? His body on display at ground zero? Not enough, I wasn't there to see him die for myself.

I'm not much for conspiracy theories but...

It's at least plausible. The handling of Osama's interrogation and having him answer for his various crimes would be an incredibly sensitive situation. There would be a global debate on what to do with him and who he affected most, where he should be tried, his rights, etc. Honestly, in terms of politics killing him was the best choice. If it was faked and he is still alive, somewhere, in US control? They get the political capital for killing him and get to interrogate him for information without scrutiny.
