People on my campus are shooting off fireworks and screaming and generally flipping the fuck out over this, then again I guess college students will take any excuse to party harder. What I personally take away from this the most is the renewed awareness that news travels SO fucking fast thanks to the internet, most everyone knows shit from around the world within minutes of it happening, which makes me very happy that I live in the information age.

Also, I will be amazed if we don't see some kind of response against the Pakistani government, whether they cooperated with us in this raid or not. If he was being sheltered in a mansion just outside Islamabad, then he was clearly getting help and protection from them.
