Curious now if staggers stack with ascent items. I don't see why they shouldn't, but you never know.
Does anyone else figure they'll be making use of those hidden locations in the [S] zones for some of the pop locations? I know E.Ron[S] has that one area on the east side of the zone that's inaccessible, as well as a spot in Saur[S], as well as the large piece of empty area in the northmost part of Pashhow Marshlands [S] that's explicitly blocked off by random rock geometry, even though there's a good 10 seconds of running through a small passage from its entrypoint before you hit said rocks.
Would have been awesome to fight a tough-as-nails VWNM in Fort[S]'s soccer field, since that spot will never get used for anything at all at the rate SE isn't putting money into this project. Shame that zone isn't listed though.

The Harpy monster (shown in the 12month roadmap thread) is in Dangruf Wadi, so it makes 2

Ppl complain too much but this new system sounds fun to me. I wonder if you can use the atmacite outside in any area one day.
The system has brand new gear as shown in the pics (hopefully not augmented crap gear) and atmas that upgrade are in this system which is cool but no brews, which is also cool.
There is at least 3 new models. The gilgamesh model, the praying mantis model and that troll/golem ifrit looking model.Its not an ifrit, looks like titan from fantastic four lol.
Rather kill gilgamesh 3 times for an empyrean 95 upgrade then kill dragua 40 more times lol. You ppl complain about the game being too easy but you never took the time to even try AV(near impossible at 75) or even try jailer of love (who is so easy).
I barely seen ppl kill jailer of faith they complained that he was too hard. Then noone in the server attempted PW and even complained of tyger who is another easy mob.
Noone in the server even tries to attempt to fight mobs that are mid or high tier, so there is no point in making those mobs anymore where 1% of the population has loot cause they were brave enough to use their LS of 64 ppl to kill it.
Half of me wishes these atmacite work in all areas not just voidwalker.
Cause all of us enjoy no challenge in this game with enhancement bonuses.
No one's fought anything and it's already deemed not challenging.
I mean, yeah... it probably won't be, but can we at least save the complaining until we actually fight the shit?

Enhancement bonuses aren't the issue, the issue is balancing in general. They could make a newer tier of content in abyssea that would be difficult with atma/abyssites, and nigh impossible without. This new content is not doomed to be easy b/c it has enhancement shit like atma in it. It all depends on how they actually balance the content.

Giving us crazy buffs means SE is free to make the later mobs seriously powerful. It doesn't have to be like Abyssea where the buffs are so OP in comparison to the mobs that it just destroys all sense of balance. The other extreme isn't exactly fun either, but is tolerable if it's done right and sparsely.
Basically, this. I don't know anyone personally who has downed Shinryu without using a brew or trying to red-lock him in the final I-spam-TP-and-Doomga-after-Draw-In phase. It's almost like the strategy intended really IS proc for what you need then blow cruor on brews, in a sort of "You should have been grinding anyway to get to this point, you can pony up 2m for a brew." The fact that after winning the cost of success is only 200k cruor instead sort of reinforces the "we didn't even try to balance this, spend resources to win instead of strategy."
Seriously, no update notes in two days? I keep waiting for amazing update info, and it has failed to materialize.
