Travis
Travis
My feelings on it exactly. I'm not here saying that he is definitely a mental construct, just that there is a strong possibility that he could be especially since there really isn't anything solid to back up that he's a real person. Once we see somebody other than Travis acknowledge him we can call it quits.
Not buying it. She wouldn't have still been there when he woke up if she could have just left (she wasn't tied down in any way, olmos was the only thing stopping her from getting up and leaving). It would have been extremely easy for her to pull her self to her feet, grab a knife, cut the ropes, then either run or kill him.2. Young guy wakes up in his bed and finds his lady friend tied up. Could be Olmos is real and tied her up. Could also be his "Olmos personality" took over, tied her up, went back to bed, and he woke up again as his regular personality.
Also, when he comes back in the room, she doesn't really panic much If he was the one who tied her up, i would expect more than just a small whimper when he came back. That she barely reacted leads me to believe that she had been there a while, and had already calmed down a bit from her initial panic.
It would be creepier to have Dexter do the Gollum instead of having Harry.
I don't know, the way she's tied up, it doesn't look at all easy for her to do what you're suggesting:

If you notice at the restaurant, she never acknowledges Olmos either. Walks right over, pours lil Hank a cup of coffee, talking to him and completely ignores Olmos.
That can easily be explained since most people will tend to ignore someone they are not interested in when they're being all lovey dovey. And he didn't seem to have ordered anything.
Also, Dexter picking him out goes kind of in stride with his general ability to tell who also has their own dark passenger.
Good god, if they go the Tyler Durden route I'll be disappointed. That whole bit with him burning himself with heated rod seemed just like TD was burning out hand with lye.
OOOhhh
How much you want to bet that Olmos and Harry will be able to see each other if Olmos isn't actually alive![]()
A) lolwut. they aren't actual ghosts lol, it's a symbolic representation.
B) If Olmos IS real/alive they are going out of their way to cast doubt on it with the way scenes have been directed.
episode 9 is titled "get gellar" so unless you can arrest a dead guy idk how this gellar is harry v.2 thing is gonna work out
Maybe Gellar...
Spoiler: show
DUN DUN DUN
god, the producers really thought about this. when you think about the overall arc and pacing most Dexter seasons have had, at the point we're at now in this season there's the perfect amount of time for there to actually be two killers and for Dexter to kill each one. and there's the perfect amount of time for them to think there are two killers, spend time chasing after gellar only to find out he's already dead, then track down travis.
But she could do it. The rope around her arm could be moved up simply by raising her arms repeatedly. From there, should could turn around, grab the table, and pull her self to her feet. With one of the knifes right above her, she could easily bend down and cut the ropes around her feet. Cutting the ropes around her hands would be trickier, and may have required her to put the knife in her mouth to cut it, which would certainly have resulted in her slashing up her wrists quite a bit, but it certainly would have been possible. Or really she could have even left her hands tied, and simply ran. Worst case, i don't see that taking more than 5 minutes.
Or if she was too incompetent to manage that, crawling to a neighbor's house would not have taken much longer.
People don't always have the capability of thinking rationally when they are thrust into situations like that, "incompetence" has nothing to do with her inability to free herself, it's perfectly normal to panic in such a situation.
Honestly I'm really surprised anyone is having difficulty with this when we are in our sixth season of this show.![]()
Going back to what Saga said, maybe there wasn't a lot of time lost between tying up the girl and finding her - the alt could have took over, tied her up, gone back to the bedroom, laid down for a min and then Travis 'woke' up. Also, Olmas peeking through the door at Travis having sex could be an analogy for Olmas watching through Travis' eyes.2. Young guy wakes up in his bed and finds his lady friend tied up. Could be Olmos is real and tied her up. Could also be his "Olmos personality" took over, tied her up, went back to bed, and he woke up again as his regular personality.
Dumb white bitches being dumb white bitches. Nothing new in media.
interesting theory, guess we just need olmos to interact with someone else
