Yeah, previews kinda sapped some of the drama out of it.

Watching the episode now so I don't have anything to contribute about what's going on, but I actually paid attention to the opening credits... Travis is the son of Tom Hanks.

I feel so stupid.
y u so angry?!
Had to look this up, dear lord lol... I can't handle this.
That being said, what was it about this episode that made people believe Olmus wasn't real? I'm inclined to believe it too but I didn't see anything that particularly stood out in this episode to convince people, I feel like I missed something. Was it the fact that no one noticed him and he was on the front page of the paper?
The vision the weird guy had of Olmos wearing a crown of thorns with blood dripping down his face, then it suddenly disappearing, inside the church at the start of the episode.
There are two ways that can be taken. God is legitimately giving this guy signs and talking to him like he's been wanting, or he's already delusional... I'm going with delusional.
I mostly just find it odd how much Edward James Olmos never touching anybody other than Colin Hanks stands out.
It seems too much like they're trying to make sure he doesn't do it, not just 10-12 random coincidences.
Dat fucking ending fuck.
Mos Def is still alive by the end of the next episode. I bet a shiny penny on it.
The shooter has to be someone who works in his shop, unless that's the most pussy German Shepherd I've ever encountered.
It is. Remember how the dog acted when Dexter was around? Fucking Berserk. But when the guy was shot the dog didn't even hardly bark.
Probably gonna be that reformed guy who was baptised the other week.
Wouldn't doubt it. The new leader of the gang probably re-recruited him.
The way Travis was talking about how he doesn't have the strength to murder people seems pretty obvious he created EJO so he could help "save" people. Kind of lame, but let's see how they run with it.
The pacing the rest of the season will feel weird. So far, we've got two parties: the Olmos party and the Travis party. The Olmos party is every cop in the show not named Dexter.
They went: hey there's a killer, HEY IT'S OLMOS. They'll probably find out at the very, very, very end that it's Travis.
Dexter went: hey there's a killer, hey it might be Travis, hey it is Travis, wait no its Olmos who's actually killing people. From there, the rest of the season will go: hey wait Olmos is fake, hey holy shit Travis has a dark passenger, hey bummer but I gotta kill Travis now.
Just seems unnecessary to have Dexter almost kill Travis only to have him track down Olmos, find out he's not real and then go back and kill Travis again.
Also, my favorite parts of these episodes are these talks that Dexter and Mos Def have. They're so good, and if MD dies I will seriously wreck shit.
assuming gellar is not real (or real but has nothing to do with the killings), the police trail will end when they find that out. Dexter withholding travis's involvement will hurt deb wont it? i dont see why dex needs to kill him since he not a "guilty but found not guilty" guy
