The vision the weird guy had of Olmos wearing a crown of thorns with blood dripping down his face, then it suddenly disappearing, inside the church at the start of the episode.

There are two ways that can be taken. God is legitimately giving this guy signs and talking to him like he's been wanting, or he's already delusional... I'm going with delusional.

I completely missed the crown of thorns, but not the blood. Not sure what I thought was going on in that scene. I guess I assumed Travis was just seeing things on top of seeing Olmos.

I wonder how long they will keep this up until they give us definitive proof as to whether he's actually alive or a dark passenger.

I just watched the scene again, and I can't see a crown of thorns.

I just rewatched it myself and there's nothing there. The scene reminded me of Stigmata so I guess I just assumed that's where the blood was coming, given the whole Jesus fascination.

Regardless, the blood dripping down Olmos' face was a figment of his imagination. Or a memory of something that happened before... Like Travis killing him or something. Which ever way works best for you.

Also, my favorite parts of these episodes are these talks that Dexter and Mos Def have. They're so good, and if MD dies I will seriously wreck shit.

Yeah, I agree. I think it's because dex's talks with MD are like some rare occurrence where dexter can actually be honest with someone. Felt that way at least about them talking on dex's balcony after putting harrison to bed. On top of that, mos def is really flexing his acting chops, hope we see him do some other shit after seeing him in this.

Also, I hate to admit it, but after the scene in the car with dex and travis, I am starting to lean more towards gellar being a figment of his imagination.

I really hate this game they're playing not giving definitive proof one way or the other.

Check that out, some things that I don't think were mentioned here. Specifically the restaurant scene with travis' one night stand, the waitress never even sets a place for him. I still think it could go either way, though with all the subtle clues they've been leaving it has me leaning more towards tyler durden.

The problem I see with the approach of a dark passenger vs. Harry, is that Dexter grew up with Harry so his delusions are more credible (if there is such a thing); whereas Travis can't have known Olmos as much; but hey its television and crazy fucks we're talking about here.

We can't really know how much time they spent together. They did tell us that travis was attending the school gellar was teaching at, at the same time, before he went missing. No one really knows why gellar went missing, or for how long during that time gellar was teaching, and then subsequently missing, that travis and gellar spent together.

We do know he was a real professor at one time, and that its pretty likely travis and gellar had contact when gellar was teaching. Hell it could even end up that travis is gellars killer, or knows about his death, not sure how they would tie that into the plot line seeing as travis obviously thinks gellar is real at this time, but he could have blocked it out.

Just too many unknowns to be certain either way.

Given Gellar's habit of picking up brunettes to manipulate, I wouldn't rule out him having males to do things like Travis is doing. Him going underground, as they said, might've been a direct result of a past associate gravely fucking up in some manner. Either way, still not much buying he's dead. People at a club are looking to get smashed or laid, not read a newspaper in an all too conveniently placed machine. Nevermind the lack of guarantee on people being up to date with local news or if his face had even been plastered on television outlets yet.

Nah, after nick started laughing and shit, I'm glad it went as it did...not sure how that bullet would have been even remotely explainable anyway, seeing as if it was brought up, Nick probably would have known where it came from, at which point it'd be tossed out. He needed to die and he did!
