They've been throwing the idea out there since season 2 and passed up the most opportune moment for her to find out in the finale last season, I don't think she'll ever find out.

Nah, they explained that they're progressing her to possibly be able to accept finding out about Dexter. As it stands, at least during first few seasons, her character would just have her head explode and be unable to accept Dexter for what he is. But after this last season, it's possible for her to accept it.

Pretty much this, I have a feeling she will find out this season, and I have a feeling it will be because of Doakes 2.0. (Chicago Mike) I think with her letting them go at the end of season 5 shows that she understands that there is a need for this type of killing. I also think that her screaming "Oh my god, Oh my god" at the end of the trailer is a big hint of her finding out.

To the people who are upset because they will be watching week by week this season, don't feel that bad, I have been watching week by week since season 2. ; ; It sucks, but I know the feeling. I was lucky enough that this and weeds was the only show I ever watched and had the pleasure of watching, The Wire, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Lost, and lolTrue Blood after all the current seasons were already over with. It just sucks now I have nothing else good to watch. PM suggestions! You see what I like.

This is going to be my first season week-to-week too Though after season 2 on Netflix, waiting for the DVDs kinda sucked lol. I think I liked season 5 better than season 4, but it wasn't really that great.

It lacks Doakes so that's not possible, S1 > S4; as for nothing happening in season 5 he got rid of the kids, that's a big plus, since they decided to kill Rita unlike the books.

As much as I loved Doakes, Season 4 had me on edge most of the time. I found the person who played the "Ice Truck Killer" to be annoying as shit for some reason I can't put my finger on. His involvement with Dexter's sister made it even worse since I can't stand her at all.

I like them 1 to 5 mostly because Dexter goes from ice cold killer to average fuck up serial killer in season 5, like the way he kills that random dude in episode 1 or 2 in season 5.
