Killing the sister would be a bad move, who'd look after Harrison then? Watching latest ep. right now, and oh man, haven't seen Dexter do so much work for a kill since little chino.
yes they were.
they were married up until season 5 or this season i thought, werent they?
No actually, they didn't tie the knot until LATE 2008.
I remember now.. right after Season 3. I thought it was some pretty insane/crazy news, funny they break up after the best season since the first two, then have that AWFUL season with Lumen post divorce. On December 31, 2008, he eloped with Jennifer Carpenter, who plays the character of Dexter Morgan's foster sister, Debra Morgan, on Showtime's Dexter. They dated for a year prior to getting married.[16][17] On December 18, 2010, Carpenter filed for divorce from Hall, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing also stated that the two had been separated since August 2010 and that she was seeking spousal support.[18]
I agree that Deb is probably gonna find out this season. Next season is going to be Dex running from her debating internally whether he should turn himself in or not.
I don't think there's anything sinister about the computer guy. I think he really is just trying to make his video game. He just likes Dex because he makes the connections that bring the crime scenes into focus. It seems like his game is a puzzle game about how you would get away with being a serial killer, so insight into that skill would definitely be helpful. If he knew how much more Dex actually sees than what he lets on, he would probably jizz himself.
Pretty boring episode and season overall IMO. DDK is just winging it, and not doing anything particularly clever. He's not actually challenging Dex, he's just annoying him. If it weren't for Dex's inner turmoil this season (AKA, if it was Old Dex) he would systematically take Travis's whole operation apart.
double. WTF BG lag.
his unnatural obsession with dexter coupled with him owning the ice truck hand probably means he is a copycat killer and/or found out dexter is the killer and is crazy and desperately seeking his approval without coming out and saying "i kill people like u cuz ur my idol"
dexter leaves a pretty big trail for someone like the computer geek to figure out if they had the desire to do so. it wouldn't be hard to put the pieces together if for some reason you had a set of people to start with that included dexter
I won't say it's impossible., but I would be kinda disappointed if it were the case. I think it's a diversion by the writers to throw us off. How many people got bad vibes from the nanny last season? I think it's like that. It's too obvious that the writers want us to think that he's more than just a geek with an obsession.
cuz none of the other "twists" this season ahve been horribly obvious
The nanny last season had me worried that somehow she would figure out Dexter's secret. I can't think of any specific reasons because I'd like to pretend last season didn't exist, but I definitely didn't feel the same about her as I do Louis.
Louis, though, this dude is crazy.
There has always been tension between Dex and Deb regardless if the actors mean for it to come across that way or not. I'm looking forward to them finally allowing Deb to find out that Dexter is who he is. My guess is that it'll be the last minute of the last episode of this season if they do it at all. Louis being all crazy is... yeah. Will be interesting to see where he gets all fucked up. And can't wait to see the parts we saw in the preview D;
I have nothing to add other than stating I would fuck Batista's sister.
With so many stupid fucking cell phone posts in this thread, I almost with they would scrap the next episode in favor of showing an entire episode of Dexter going out and buying burners.
I am also thinking they are setting Louis up to be next seasons villain.
Ake only one that didn't get bad vibes from Nanny last season?
I didn't get bad vibes from her /shrug.
I didn't either and highly doubt Louis wil be the bad guy next season. I don't think he is some crazy killer at all, and have never got that vibe from him. He is a collector, he bought the hand for a keep sake, not because he is a copy cat killer that is going to go redo all the ITK murders. Just my opinion.
