Dexter Season 6 (now with more bitching)

Epic doesn't even begin to describe. I mean sure, the season overall was boring and predictable, but considering how long we've all been waiting for Deb to find out, it just feels so good to actually see it happen.

Hey, maybe Deb will feel better when she realizes that Dex is the reason Miami Metro's solve rate is so low. If you factor in his killings, their numbers should look pretty fucking good!

think it would be better for dex to be straight with deb and tell her everything. iirc bay harbor butcher was admired by many of miami metro, think even batista mentioned something. she also let lumen + dex go telling them that she does understand their actions. killing travis doesn't really need any explanation and if there is one thing we learned this season, it's deb needs dex to be somewhat stable.

Dexter doesn't kill too many people that the cops were going to find. He almost always sticks to ones they cannot find, with only a special exception. Issue being that he does take some of the big names out, lol. But I doubt it really changes their overall numbers much.

Problem is that she needed to catch him. So unless he planned on leaving his body somewhere they could find it there would be no way to close the case. It didn't seem like he planned on doing what he did with his brother. Which I would have preferred him doing something like that instead of making Travis disappear like the average Joe that he kills.

Eh, I could see them spinning it as Travis coming back to the church while Dex was doing his thing, then killing him in self defense. As is, would figure him smart enough to stage a scene and the general public would be glad to know DDK is gone. Whether Dex goes on to explain that Travis jacked his boat and almost killed Harrison might be enough to sway Deb.

Unless they make Deb conveniently retarded, as they have been known to do, there is no real way Dexter can explain this away. It was obviously ritualistic, and she overheard the dialogue beforehand, she would be able to piece these things together with the BHB thing, or should be able to.

I don't see how they can make it all of the sudden BHB if he doesn't chop him up. Could just be a random killer. Making her notice he's the BHB out of no where seems a little silly.

Also gotta note that although some of the killers do slip between the cracks the main villains typically don't and usually don't get found because Dexter sabotages evidence and/or does some social engineering so he can get to them first.

Except Deb knows that plastic wrap was the BHB's MO. Same with the knives.

She's a detective that worked on the case for like a year. She's going to notice this shit.

All she knows is the BHB chops them up into little pieces and dispose it via bin bags.

No way Deb will associate BHB with that kill scene.

Actually, in the the BHB season, they commented on how the Body was wrapped in plastic.

And for the Game guy. It wouldn't make any sense for him to be a random stranger.

See, what I think went down is Game guy told hot chick to get the Hand for him for like 500 bucks but she got greedy and decided to see if she could get more money for it. When she got caught that was his opening to get in. Think about the Hand. What significance did it have in Season 1? No one save for Dexter would be able to know that. A random stranger couldn't have known that he also got the little barbie hand.

Lundy talked about it when the copy cat left that body on the train in the second season. Deb was on his task force.

IIRC Dexter also left two people in a mobile home in a junkyard wrapped up in plastic during the BHB arc.

Haven't posted here in a while, but it's worth saying. Barring the last two seconds (and even then the plotting/writing to get there was awful) everything in this season was fucking terrible. So terribly terribly terribly terrible.
