Its not bullshit. What hinders most guys - especially the type of guy that frequents BG - is being paralyzed by fear and anxiety. Aka caring too much and not being confident.

It's not that they like it so much as it drives them crazy. I mean, you have to have some fucking game to begin with, you can't just go up to a chick, be like "uhhh...hi" and then leave and think you just planted the mother of all seeds. Again, stupid way to look at it but it's a perceived value thing. By walking away after asking your question/being charming or witty/whatever the hell you open with, you're displaying that your value is higher than hers because you aren't putting her up on a pedestal and trying to get her number for an hour.

Trick is, this really only works on girls that are sure of themselves. Girls on the rebound or just looking to mess around you usually don't have to go through all this bullshit -- strike up a convo, build a rapport, grab number at end of night, success. And it's been mentioned before but bars are fucking terrible for meeting girls if you're looking for something serious. Great place to practice your game and get some bullshit lays, but that's about it. Can people start long term relationships from a bar meet up? Of course. But get involved somewhere in the community, go to a fucking yoga class or something. I found a big group of Jewish friends when I moved after undergrad to do shit with on the weekends. I also work at a college, so the poon is still oh so easy to come by.

No but really, the reason its great here is not because of the homegrown talent (while hot, the girls that grow up here are... wow retarded for the most part).

It's the transplants (including most of my social circle) that are key. They move to SoCal for exciting new experiences and are open and willing to jump at new opportunities.

that's actually another problem. I had a hard time making female friends when I first moved here because lets face it, most of the girls I was interacting with I wanted to punch in the face after 10 minutes. (been able to sift through the sand of bubbleheads and found some good gems, but it wasn't easy).


They are probably great for lays because of hot bodies, but god damn you gotta listen to that shit all day until you get to that part.
