pick up annihilation definitely. its the best the best the best the best
If you liked annihilation get Legion lost (legion of super heroes DC by DnA) very, very good stuff
I wonder what's going to be done with Cap's shield...put it back together or new asgardian version?
Nerds.
i absolutely LOVE mags, but i am not looking forward to that mini series. i hate when artists, write. i hope its terrible and has no bearing on the actual MU. I love mags as a hero. "You see to your patients, i'll see to our enemies" from Second Coming = fucking fist pump city, USA.
Maybe, I think it all depends on what happens by the end of Schism and The Children's Crusade(if Wanda repowers all the mutants, for example). I could see anti-mutant sentiment being very high and Magneto falling back into his old ways. I think I prefer him as the guy who believes the ends justify the means, and so he does bad things because he thinks it's best for mutants.
Also, Doom Goes to Hell miniseries...I hope they make Doom more than a one off villain for a change.
It seems like to follow a specific storyline you need to invest in a bunch of different comics. Not just one. Is this so?
Depends on the story. Fear Itself, for example, has a ton of spinoffs. You can get mostly everything you need to from the main book however. Schism is just its own storyline within a 5 series book(although I think 2 issues of Generation Hope tie-in). For back issues, usually going with the collected novel is the best way to go. However, the storylines often impact everything after that(ie House of M was in 2005 and still has impact on what happens right now).
The Joe Mad Avenging Spiderman just looks awesome.
It turns out black spiderman is because of that retarded internet petition asking for danny glover to be spiderman a while back. I still say they should have petitioned to bring back static shock.
Micheal Clarke Duncan is never too old for this shit.
Quesada swears the new Ultimate Spider-Man was thought of before the Donald Glover thing. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure Static Shock is part of the Teen Titans?
Yah, Static is being merged into the new DC universe.
He didn't care enough about it to remember he'd already thought that up so I halfway suspect that was on the way to the scrap heap.
Static shock in the teen titans? Not sure if want. I 'm honestly amazed right now that DC actually managed to find a way to stop my inner child from bouncing up and down at static shock. Him and the teen titans just clashes on some level. It's probably related to him living in the ghetto while the rest of the team is a bunch of multi billionaire white kids (not counting cyborg, starfire, or beast boy). Way too much of a disconnect from static shock's usual comic book environment. Well I'm still going to physically go out and buy the solo series he has at least.
I think when DC does their new 52 thing, he is getting a new series.
Perosnally, the only DC things that look interesting to me in the 52 are Deathstroke and Suicide Squad, unless Raven is in something that Im unaware of.
