If i want to get into New Mutants and X Factor how far back should I start?
I don't see Cyke losing it, they have been training these kids for situations like this for years now. The only "kids" in my mind are the Generation Hope team, where Wolverine has a point (especially with Oya who is like 12/14/16/18 [depending on the artist/writer]). However, they are training with Hope who is probably the most militaristic x-man.
New Mutants you can prolly start around....25 I think? Right after Age of X. The series assumes you know about all the characters since issue 1 of volume 3. If you don't wikipedia is your friend
X-Factor you can jump into it right now. 224.1 gives a good intro to all the major characters and sets up the next arc(which has only seen 225 so far). If you can find issues 1-50 of volume 1(which is in TPB and marvels digital comics site), I would suggest doing so. Volume 3 of X-Factor goes 1-50, then went back to the old numbers starting with 200.
Holy eff at Ultimates #2. Hickman combined the Future Foundation and The World from 616 into a force that decimated Asgard. Bad ass.
Hope you guys are looking forward to Wolverine and the X-Men XD! It's lots of fun.
just looked at what is coming out this week, it is pretty light for my interests. X-23, Schism 5, maybe Tbolts.
Next week is really X-Men heavy with Generation Hope(with insane looking Hope on the cover), Uncanny X-Force, Regenesis, Legacy, as well as Alpha Flight. Because Marvel wants me to spend a lot of money right before NYCC apparently![]()
is Regenesis going to have its own mini series, or will it just be tie-ins w/comics all under the same heading? And is there a site you recommend for finding when certain comics are going to be released. Tried certain online comic stores but their search engines are terrible
It should just be issues of current series under the Regenesis banner.
Marvel.com has a decent release database, I usually use that. Comicvine usually tweets a post every monday with all the week's releases. But that's all I got.
Regenesis will have a one-shot called X-Men: Regenesis #1, and then later in october Uncanny #544, Wolverine 17, and Wolverine and the X-Men will be out. November starts Uncanny X-Men #1 and everything else.
you can use comixology.com, midtowncomics.com, and prolly more to find whats coming out the next week and, to a lesser extent, in the future.
Schism and X-23

oh nvm... answered my own question
Did not like Teon in Gen Hope this week, seemed way out of character.
Wished Regenesis would have said where Chamber sided, we know Husk, would like to see where her soulmate goes
Ultimate X-Men is getting better, but just get the full freaking team together already.
I like how Ultimate Spiderman is setting up everything that happened before the death of spiderman.
I know I sound like a broken record but OMG UNCANNY XFORCE RAGHUFHFASHODHF! The story just keeps adding layer after layer of pure awesomeness. Not to mention, one of the funniest issues I've read in any comic for a long time.
Yeah his name is conveniently located right between Cannonball and Husk. I was wondering about him before seeing that also as I couldn't figure out why they would re-power him through Age of X and then proceed to do nothing at all with him since.
