So just got done reading X-Men Legacy 248 and some good info on the upcoming hunt for Rachael/Havok/Polaris:

Revenant was the telepathic form of Rachael Summers (Marvel Girl) which got to Utopia as Moira took control in Age of X and transformed her. In the process, the message from Rachael was lost. However, Cyclops is now forming the team though it seems Magneto and Rouge have a 5 issue date first.

Also, it seems Chamber is back to his original mutant form from talks in the issue. YAY!

I'm glad Danielle Moonstar is taking a prominent role, always liked her character. Also, I like that Cyclops is recognizing leaving business unfinished has had its problems. Plus I've been wondering wtf is going on with X-Men since Dark X-Men.

That does look sweet. The last prelude issue had alot of discussion of "hope" (the emotion, not person), wondering if that will foreshadow Hope reuniting the Mutant race in spite of this Schism

From the start, Bishop blamed her for the horrible future he came from. It's entirely possible that she can't contain her powers since they seem to be a culmination of every mutant power and the phoenix, and something bad happens from that.

Been looking to get into comics forever (specifically X-Men). Was wondering if purchasing a subscription through Marvel was the way to go and if so which should I get? New X-Men movie piqued my interest and got me started on wanting something to follow more regularly then waiting on semi decent movies every couple of years. Sorry if this was not the place to ask and thanks in advance for any feedback.

If you want to read newer stuff, I'd suggest going to a comic book store and picking out a few titles and reading them there. If you want more back catalog stuff, marvel's digital comics is really nice.
You can also buy the collected editions of most of the big storylines from bookstores or amazon or whatever.

The movies and the comics really don't have much in common storyline tbh. The characters are somewhat similar in motivation, but the movies exist outside the comic universe.

I miss Sabretooth in the main universe. Why they killed him and Omega Red off for a horrible villain they concocted is beyond me.

I think the best part of that issue of X-Force is the shoutout to Exiles (where AoA Sabertooth and Psylocke met). Makes me wonder if there may not be an Exiles solution to the problem which I would totally love.

See and that's another thing, the promo's for "The Hunt for X-Man" for New Mutants have a picture of X-Man with Blink (but not sure which one)... too much awesome shit going on in X-titles these days.
