Loeb's Cable is how I remember Cable. I mean, the newer comics doesn't even have him saying: "Oath" at all

I dunno why but I just missed that side of him.

Loeb, Bendis, Johns, and a few others really seem to be a absolutely love or totally hate thing. Someone at the X-Men: Regenesis panel at NYCC asked the X-team to teach Bendis how to use continuity.

Unrelated, FF 600 looks like it will be EPIC.

I think Bendis' problem is, if he's writing too many titles, he spreads himself too thin. You get the wall o' words filler everywhere. I would say it started when he began writing for Avengers. His Daredevil I think was better than Frank Miller's. The death of Ultimate Spiderman and the Funeral of Spiderman he wrote was phenomenal.

Johns to me is just random. It's either great or garbage.

Everyone should know my opinion on Loeb. He has surpassed Chris Claremont as most hated writer for me.

Loeb WAS good back in the day, particularly his Batman stuff (Long Halloween, etc.) But from Hulk on everything he's written has been complete garbage.

Bendis mostly has bad habits of making characters power sets fall in line with what he wants to write, depowering them how he sees fit or just flat out ignoring logic (Thor killing Sentry at the end of Siege, really?).

Johns, well... I enjoy Green Lantern for the most part, but he needs to get over his hard on about bringing silver age characters back from the dead.

And you definitely can kill Annihilus, just ask Nova.

wtf, all that shit is happening in FF 600? last i saw nathanial richards was teaming up with an evil reed cuz doc doom was gonna do something? im not gonna lie, i cant even follow what is happening in that book. first tehre were a ton of reeds, then black bolt showed up, then some mole people, now everyone fighting. doctor doom killed some villain i didnt recognize. i really need someone to explain everything that has happened to me in these FF books and tell me why Galactus is back.

Im doing this all from memory, so bear with me

awhile back, Valeria trapped a whole bunch of alternate Reed Richards in the 616 universe. They are all like the normal Reed Richards but without a conscience(they tend to kill all Dooms for example). This is why bad guys like Doom, Diablo, the Thinker, etc. are part of the Future Foundation. They have to come up with a plan to stop all these evil Reeds.

Meanwhile, Lockjaw found Black Bolt in the Fault, where he was trapped after War of Kings. Ultimately, the Inhumans do battle with all the evil Reeds. The big evil Reed escapes with an enslaved Doom and Nathaniel Richards is teleported to him by the one Inhuman whose name I forget.

Also, it looks like Ronan the Accuser and the Kree will be battling the Inhumans, who went back to the moon. Crystal seems to be siding with Ronan, her husband, on this.

Beyond that, I dont know why exactly Galactus is pissed off.

Also, it will happen in Fantastic Four 600 and Future Foundation 12.

Marvel's Next Big Thing Liveblog is currently going. Early news is what they called the 2.0 version of the Fantastic Four teaming Venom up with X-23, Red Hulk, and Ghost Rider in the Venom ongoing series.

ohhhhhh i thought future foundation 12 was just getting rebranded back to fantastic four. i never really read FF until the 3 storyline but now I am hooked even though I never have a clue what is going on and I have no idea who the kids and creatures in the future foundation are

Its worth digging up Hickman's entire run. He's an awesome writer but his stories are incredibly hard to follow if you haven't been following from the start, since he loves to reference shit no one remembers a year after the fact.

sales are so down.
I guess piracy issues are the reason behind it. I know my local comic shop owner says he rarely gets younger kids in, I have no idea if they just dont want to read books or they just download them.

Man regenesis was awesome for those that haven't read it yet. I loved how they depicted the battle over the mutants. I didn't notice how little Logan had until the end though. He's basically missing a whole team.
