If you don't know who Doop is go dig up the old X-statix series.
I honestly have no idea what he's doing in that comic though since I thought he was dead.

I think the whole X-Statix team died, most in the first issue of X-Force way back when. Think Doop is the only one that never died.
I could be wrong but the last time I remember seeing him was during the Blood of Apocalypse storyline shortly after House of M where he lands in some sort of space capsule and captures Polaris to turn her into a horse(wo?)men.
Started to read the x-23 series this weekend and up to #10 so far. Lui writes her very well and I love all the back story for Laura. I hope she continues to write the character and it doesn't get cancelled, and that she doesn't write her into one of the existing Regenesis teams (w/looks like it might happen for issue 20)

Also, anyone know when Avengers Annual is coming out? It's been months since New Avengers Annual and I want to see how that plays out![]()
Does jubilee still have that mist power or w/e it's called? Or was that just written for the wolverine & jubilee comic and never adapted into the actual universe?
She should still have it, but we haven't seen a lot of her since Wolv/Jubes (but btw she needs Wolvie blood to stay sane right? Shouldn't she have followed him to Westchester?)
Yeah she still needs his blood, which makes it odd... Seems like she would still be close w/wolvie even though she is on cyclops side... Especially since everyone on the X-Men team, aside storm, seems like they belong on wolvie's team.
The NYCC marvel comic panel said jubilee is a focus of the X-men team and that the curse of the mutant stuff is supposed to come full circle. So I'd imagine some Dracula stuff happening again
Where do you guys find all of your comics? One of my friends told me about the DC 52 reboots, so I decided that this is probably the best time for me to get back into it. So far, I've read the first 3 issues of Batwing, first two of Dark Knight, Nightwing, and Flash as well. On the Marvel side, I started with Uncanny Xmen #1, Wolverine #1 (the one where he starts his own academy), and Incredible Hulk #1. Oh and I randomly grabbed the first issue of X-23 for a dollar and I really enjoyed it. I'm kind of interested in her storyline.
I want to get some new stuff but I don't know where to look. The first thing I want to do is read 1-15 of X-23 so I can be current on that, but they didn't have any of her issues (besides #1 and the brand new #16) at my local comic store
Anyone have any suggestions for a newbie like me?
I'm a sucker for a good Batman comic, as I enjoy his universe the most. I'll probably just stick to Batman, Batwing, Nightwing, and probably the Justice League. (I tried reading about Flash but there's so many different versions of him that it gets really confusing)
I kind of need help figuring out what I should follow on the Marvel side of things. Growing up, I always liked Marvel superheroes so I'm kind of excited to start reading about them again. I just need help figuring out which story arcs are the best for me to get started with.
Read Uncanny X-Force & FF, the best Marvel books in my opinion.
My friend made my buy the first issue of Uncanny Xforce, lol. He wouldn't let me leave the store until we found it. What does FF stand for?
Try to find a local comic store, or there are always online ones but thats kinda a pita I would guess. I'm sure there is a good local one close to you, you may need to drive like 30ish to find one though. Like the one I go to has a reserve list where everything you want to keep track of they put aside for you.
As for X-23, 1-6 collection is in hardback under "The Killing Dream"
best part of uncanny is NO GREG LAND
also DJ FF is future foundation, but the book is actually called FF. it is what the fantastic four became
OT: I'm actually debating creating a non-profit or Super PAC named "Future Foundation" or "American Future Foundation"![]()
