coworkers and I are staring at some of the AvX art... we're trying to figure out who's side Wolvie is on ;D its' like different for every piece! haha.

Some might think it's a dumb gimmick but I LOVE that Marvel is doing the companion VS books for AVX. Just a comic that focuses on the entire fights.

As long as they aren't 3.99 each, I'm cool with it. 3.99 books are really hurting my wallet.

Storm, Beast, Wolverine, and Squirrel Girl all have to choose between Avengers and Mutants. Obviously Squirrel Girl against vampire Jubilee makes the most sense, from a fanboy perspective. Although, Doreen against Moon Knight would be crazy too.

This may be the most interesting of all the battles just because of Rogue's history with Ms. Marvel.

The whole space thing really turned me off. This was a good issue though. Might continue reading it as I transfer to more digital stuff. I like that Rogue can now absorb powers without memories and it seems she is better at absorbing powers.

X-Factor

Great, great issue. There is just something about this team that I love when they fight each other. Good way to introduce Polaris and Havok as well

Wolverine

Really good issue. Sabretooth and Mystique. Definitely worth getting.
Sad part was there is a Wolverine series coming out written by Jeph Loeb. Apparently no one told him that Cloak and Dagger switched powers at the end of their Spider Island mini? Oops.

Ultimate X-Men

Also very good. No ugly Sentinel Striker to muck up the pages. Professor X! Next issue teases Scarlet Witch! /fanboy

Kind of felt like a filler issue. It feels like the story is just getting to where it would peak, and its already over next issue. Guess I will wait and see how it ends up

Black Cat has been kind of uninteresting lately. Has she gone bad? Really cool issue. Really dug with Dan Slott has done lately.

Scarlet Spider

The spiders on every page for the first three pages are fucking annoying, glad it stopped there. Other than that, I thought it was decent. As an introductory issue, there isn't much to say.

That Rogue/Ms. Marvel cover is just atrocious. Reading through the Marvel books now, Carnage USA & Secret Avengers were great.
