I miss Sabretooth in the main universe. Why they killed him and Omega Red off for a horrible villain they concocted is beyond me.

See and that's another thing, the promo's for "The Hunt for X-Man" for New Mutants have a picture of X-Man with Blink (but not sure which one)... too much awesome shit going on in X-titles these days.

I'd assume it's 616 Blink on the screen when Cyclops is talking about finding lost mutants. Also, I forget what book it was in but Emma Frost meets up with Blink and extends an invitation to join them on Utopia. Blink runs away, disgraced for working with Selene.

eh 4 years ago about? Wolverine cuts off his head with the Masamune blade. He also killed Wild Child and Omega Red within a few issues. It was all part of that dumb Romulus storyline.

daaaamn, idk how i missed that. i do remember the romulus storyline... i think. was dakken in it and they were all working together/against eachother? i rarely read solo hero books.

yes, that was towards the end of it. storyline went on for a long, long time in the Wolverine book

Apparently Schism will be ending Uncanny X-Men. I don't understand why both Marvel and DC want to "start over" at least with the numbering. Characters histories will still be there. I guess it is just intimidating picking up issues 560 and being like "damn, I need to catch up on a lot"?

I'm expecting they "end" uncanny x-men by simply renaming it. Something like returning to just "X-Men"

So I was playing around on Comicvine and found a Marvel series from a couple of years ago called "GeNeXt" and was wondering if anyone had read it and if its worthwhile. I love alternate future/timeline shit so it peaked my interest (and why I loved Exiles).

Read the new issue of X-Men Legacy, it took me a little while to figure out what they were doing with Rachel as nothing was making sense, but really cool when I figured it out. (Don't wanna spoil it further).

As for "Legions Lost" I'm not sure I really care for the storyline, Frenzy is just uninteresting to me, but Legion is starting to become a pretty bad ass hero. However, one problem for me, how can Xavier create a telepathic link with Magneto when he's wearing his helmet?

Do you guys have any favorite websites for buying back issues (individual issues) and such? I wouldn't mind catching up on some of the stuff I've missed over the years. I remember placing orders from the American Entertainment mail order company back in the day as a kid (used to love those!) but haven't come across any sites that offer that kind of thing yet.

Midtown comics online store is the only one I've used. If you are just catching up, most everything is in collections that you can find on amazon(which might also have some back issues).

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I've been getting some of the graphic novel stuff, but I kind of wanted outlets for some of the more obscure story lines that may not have made it. I also am not always sure where I left off with story lines and time lines and such. So just kind of wanted to browse issues and such.

Unrelated, Fear Itself is getting worse each issue...or I just don't care at all.

Stumbled across a link where I was able to download x-men 1-66 its the old first version though. Not so bad which surprised me. After I read a couple I decided to get a subscription from midtown so I can keep up with the newer ones. Was wondering if anyone got links to 67+? I think wolverine coming up soon then I read it gets really good after 105 or so. If not I guess ill buy some of the paperback collections off Amazon sucks they come only 10 issues to a book tho.

About the newer stuff, I picked up Prelude to Schism, Legacy, Uncanny and X-Men. Are Schism and Uncanny taking place in the same universe and the other two just out there on their own or are they all in the same Universe. Was also wondering how Prof X was walking again and was curious about Jean. After Phoenix (which I haven't read yet) did they lose her forever? I think I bit off more then I can chew when trying to get into the comics lol but its been fun I just wish these issues would arrive sooner. :/
