Also, usually when characters have a trait that makes them stand out too much, they end up becoming a scene stealer. Not in a good way either.

Tommy is slimey and there is absolutley nothing likebale about him. He's a douche and he has no real cool powers. He's not sexy and he's not a bad guy either. He's also a dumbass and his power is mostly changing into dogs and birds.

Why does everyone hate Maryann btw? I know shes not in this season but I loved her. She was epic and had a killer personality.

Anyone else notice Sookie reading a Charlaine Harris book at the kitchen table towards the end of the episode? I thought it was a cute addition.
This season is incredibly silly though. The scene with Tara and Jesus looking for the runaway Lafayette was just over the top ridiculous. "Oh fuck, where he go?! Oh Fuck! Oh fuck! Where his car go?!! We gots to go find him!" Campy is an understatement, it's so SyFy channel half the time I can't help but roll my eyes and giggle.

I feel like this episode, was a "set-up episode" for what is to come. the only thing I don't like in this season is the Jason plot. Everything else is great and amen to more Tommy, he is second to Eric in the eye candy division. I srsly want Sookie to end up with Eric or at least sleep with him.

It is, and it isn't. Jason becomes a were-panther in the book... but this is how it happens...

Jason does go out w/Crystal and they fall in love, yatta yatta. And the crazy brother (who in the show is basically the reason for the rape) kidnaps Jason out of jealousy/rage and bites him all over (aka: turns him into a were- panther) as a way to punish him and Crystal. His reasoning in the book is the same, in that if Crystal is going to mate w/ somebody he needs to be a were-panther, but his motives are pure evil and Crystal is 110% against what he was doing

But in the books Calvin (the leader of the were-panthers) is still alive and helps Jason learn how to use his new ability, as well as punish the crazy brother, and teaches him the ropes so he doesn't become a savage and stuff and it turns out to be a good thing for Jason.
