maybe im trying to think about this to realistically, but i was wondering if his fairy powers hookup with his panther powers and suddenly cats love him or something i dunno

or maybe i should stop thinking about genetics on a show with vamps, fairies and maenads

although hot shots is basically a genetics storyline .. ok ok ill just enjoy the show nvm

Naw... that never happens. I haven't finished the books (stopped at around book 6 i think, for now), but Jason remains w/ Crystal. Outside of the book that focus's on Jason being turned into a panther, he is a really minor character so you don't get a lot of him outside of when Sookie and him hangout.

All this may be moot as the show is concerned, well him remaining w/ Crystal, since the show is taking a completely different take as to how/why Jason is getting turned into a Panther and the reasoning behind it.

he is still in the TV show and has already been cast... I would wager he goes after Sookie to get revenge for Claudine's death. (my guess)

Why not make him the main villain in the show next season! Would fit in perfectly for how poorly the show has been written.

    I know!

    Spoiler: show
make him the killer of sups in season 5?

That's a good idea, assuming he lives long enough to make it to S5 lol

Oh come on, you can troll better than that.

Not sure how calling this season retarded or terrible implies that I'm taking it seriously.

Past seasons have not been near as awful as this season, imo.

(EW.com) -- SPOILER ALERT if you haven't watched this week's True Blood...
Okay, now let's continue. This past Sunday's episode concluded with Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) sucking the life out of Claudine (Lara Pulver), Sookie's fairy godmother.
The twist surprised many fans of Charlaine Harris' book series, because Claudine doesn't bite the dust until much later in the novels. Executive producer Alan Ball tells EW that just because Sookie's mentor is gone doesn't mean we've seen the last of the fairy world.
"After everything that was going on with the fairies in the first episode, I think we wanted to sort of put a pin in that, but obviously it's not over," says Ball. "I felt it would have more impact if it was someone we knew as opposed to just a random fairy."
It's also another example of Blood diverging from its source material, like keeping Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) alive and introducing the original character of Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll).
Says Ball, "If we did just do everything in the books, there would be no surprises. It's not like we have a formula for what we're going to keep from the books and what we're going to change. If there's a consensus that something makes sense, that's usually the way we go."
For her part, Harris says she "was surprised" by the death of Claudine, but trusts in Ball and where he takes the stories. Says the author, "If he can be gracious to me, I can certainly be gracious enough to wait and see where he's going."
This week's episode also saw the horrific scene of Jason Stackhouse being raped by the women of Hot Shot, something my colleague Mandi Bierly referred to in her recap as one of the series most disturbing moments.
"Well of course it's twisted -- Hot Shot is twisted," says Ball. "They're crazy inbred freaks. They call each other Uncle Daddy! Hello! It's a twisted world."
'True Blood' recap: 'I know I'm a vampire, Sookie'
No doubt this season of "True Blood" will hold even more surprises, but Ball gave EW a tease of what to expect.
"It gets ugly between the vampires and the witches," says Ball. "There's more than one fight coming up. There's also a very unexpected romantic attachment which you'll start to see the beginnings of I believe in next week's episode. We're gonna find out a lot about Jesus' magic that's in his family. We're gonna get to the bottom of what's going on with Arlene's baby."

Best part of the episode: Ginger running and screaming. Any episode she's in makes it worth it. How can no one else understand comedic value.

Maybe this will stop some of the QQ from people because it doesn't follow the book to the letter.

    Probably not though.

Some things just dont translate well into scenes in this softcore society anyway (e.g. Walking Dead comic vs. tv series) and indeed having the video mirror word by word a book would be quite uncreative.

    Wtf at the ending..

    Spoiler: show
The whole time I'm thinking "Please don't kill her, please don't kill her, plea- eeeew finger in the skin".

If they would JUST get rid of like half the stories it would be such a good show.

I thought it was pretty decent overall. Too much of the Sam/Tommy shit but otherwise I liked it.

Oh, and not enough Jessica. Again.

Yah, storyline wise it's identical to Heroes. Both shows started the show with just a few storylines that eventually wove into each other. By the third/fourth season it was so hectic that it just felt like 2-3 completely different shows with no tie-ins. But at least True Blood is likeable. I mean I can watch it no problem and actually still wait for the next episodes.. where as I had to force myself to watch Heroes after the fourth season in hopes they would either cancel it or it would get better.

Decent episode, I'm actually liking Sam's story line, Tommy could been killed tonight and done with. LoL at Bills incest I thought that was something clever. As much as I love Jessica she's getting lost this season and her bit isnt very interesting.

I thought episode was "meh." Tommy storyline went right back to square one because they can't think of anything else for him aside recycling the same story over and over again... just makes the cast of characters even bigger since now he has his full own side story.

Jason's is still fuckin odd. They made crystal into crazy bitch. I like the Eric stuff, but even it seemed like so much filler.. and wtf at Pam.. fuck that Oh yeah, Bill seems like a giant pussy since becoming the king

    Spoiler: show
least all the spells disolve when the bitch dies

Does anyone have a megaupload link for last nights episode? Wanna pass the link onto a friend who doesn't have HBO.
Was a decent episode, but I think Pam's going to be highly pissed the next time we see her.
