I think Marnie's power-up is actually from possessing Lafayette. Remember that all this started when he joined the circle and they were suddenly able to do shit like raise the dead bird. They've set-up Lafayette as some kind of supernatural battery all season.

Pretty good episode. I especially enjoyed the Alcide/Sam duo, I hope they bond over this and find some reason to roll around kicking ass together next season. Also, does this make Alcide the new packmaster?

Eric with the capri sun heart was bad ass yeah. But fucking sookie why didn't she zap marnie more. If some witch put a circle of fire around me id try to zap her or something to break the spell. Why doesn't sookie zap pam too to break the rotting spell on her as well.

At best, Sookie's powers are erratic. She really has no control over them. They always seem to come out when someone else is about to get seriously hurt or killed. Her powers don't seem to come out when she is in personal peril as much.

If they continue to follow the book lightly as they have this season, new packmaster should take place next season. It's basically a set of trials that two ppl, both deemed worthy of leading the pack, have to compete in.

Pretty terrible season so far, but the heart-ripping scene almost singlehandedly made up for it.

Also Debbie is built like a male olympic swimmer, and that desi chick is hot when she's angry.

It was because of Antonia. As soon as Antonia was purged from her body the spell died.

And ugh... if Russel comes back idk wtf they could do it make it less retarded. He was an awesome character but w/ such wasted potential that i doubt they would let him do anything but be a filler
