Maybe newlin has nothing to do with pam. Perhaps he just found out jason fucked his wife so he's out for revenge.
Pam just wants to gank sookie, and only one who can do it is russel.
But yeah prob will be lots of sookie + alcidie for season 5, since he said he had a big part in it thus no superman audition.
Tara just looked grazed. 1/2 her head wasn't blown off like ellen's in the movie 'super' if you've seen that.

Newlin must have a backup or some alternative intentions to make sense imo. I mean Jason could just tell Sookie he's being bullied and Bill and Eric would fuck up Newlin. Jessica could even kill him, she's older.

Jessica sex scene was legendary. Glad they killed off Tara and I'm glad to see that the news I read about Russel coming back appears to be correct since last season was my favorite even with all the flaws.
