Maybe HBO had to take some of their budget and give it to game of Thrones lol

According to the wiki ratings have increased from 2mil > 4.28mil > 4.98mil which is HBO highest rated show since Sopranos so 10 episodes make no sense. 25k an episode seems really low for how popular it is.

Hmm wtf... Allan must just be running out of story... I think that 25k was the first season, and if the ratings have climbed like that.... I'm sure she makes A LOT more now.

Pretty sure the actors get a lot more per episode now. That, and I wouldn't be surprised if the 10 episode season was because of Alan Ball. HBO doesn't seem to care how long a season goes for as long as its well written. They have Original shows that are 6 episode even.. now that sucks

Well I found the post where I read about her salary, but I misquoted, it is 75k per episode. (Not sure of the date on this either)

But, if this number is from the first season, and with ratings doubling for season 2 and 3, I bet it is safe to say she makes twice that amount now. Unless they locked her into a contract for a certain amount of years.

Edit: This was posted at the end of last season, still shows her @75k per episode.

There is more of these.... but I think you get the point....

I don't think I have ever seen so much marketing and advertising for one season of a TV series in my life, they have made like 30 videos to promote this season lol It looks like they are also showing the 2nd episode right after the first on HBOGO

I didn't think it could get any worse from the first 6min, but the next 2 min proved me wrong... Wtf are they doing to this show....

I didn't really mind the preview, at least not enough to prevent me from watching the show. The faery bomb volleys were a bit silly.

Sookie's tits looked nice as usual.

That preview reminded me of something like a crazy ass Warner Brothers cartoon. That was bad. I doubt the whole season will be this bad... but judging it off that preview. donotwant

Hmm someone told me the sneak peaks are private now, and sorry I can't find it anywhere. Don't worry, you are not missing much, and it starts in like 4 days.

It never ceases to amaze me how damn smart they are about how damn stupid he is. Jason is fucking brilliant.

Seriously though if True Blood were real and happened in Texas, Jason would be G.W.

    Well the first season...

    Spoiler: show
They "completely" resolved Rene. Obviously there's still some stuff coming from that, but the crazy fucker running around killing fangbangers arc itself was concluded.

    Then, the second season...

    Spoiler: show
They really did completely resolve the Maryanne shit. Bitch is dead, Sam's a baller cow, Eggs became your brain on drugs, etc.

    But then season 3...

    Spoiler: show
Lorena and Franklin are the only ones that got "resolved," really. Eric was able to call out to Pam to come get him out of the concrete, Russel obviously had no one to call out to, but who really knows wtf is going to happen. I suppose the statements that he's gone for a hundred years kind of tell us that everybody human will be gone and the story will have changed by the time he's out... if you want to believe that. Who the fuck knows, really. Everyone else though, their stories are much more contiguous with what went on season 3 than before.

Take Jason, for example: season 1 set him up for the church shit season 2, but it had other shit going on the whole time. The church shit in a way set up the whole wanting to be a cop thing, but it was really a totally separate story from season 3. Jason spent pretty much the entirety of season 3 setting up the panther shit, which is now going to go down season 4.

Even Sookie, it's not like the fairyland shit came in at the very end of the season, the whole season was setting it up.

Anyway yeah, that's how I see it. The first season could be separated almost entirely from the second. The second season could be separated almost entirely from the third.

The fourth season, though, is still working out tons of the cast's same primary individual storyline as the 3rd.

    edit: oh also...

I'm pretty sure the "other side of Godric" we're going to see is
    Spoiler: show
the crazy evil mass murdering child molester side.

Is that photo taken from Lost or something? I know she was his mother in Lost, can't think of any other reason they would be posing for a picture like that.

Edit: Hmm never mind, I see the True Blood season 4 poster in the back ground.... WTF is he doing???? I will poop my pants if he is in this season.+

Edit: Wow I'm an idiot... I did not know they were married! Guess I should have googled before asking.. lol Learn something new everyday...

Yeah, you're totally right about the story line resolution for the characters. Godric going all berserk would be amazing too.
