The last 12 tigers I've done, I've seen zero ninja seals (all with grellow and TH). Bad luck != hard, but it's still shitty, and a different way to get seals isn't a bad thing.

The worst thing for tiger is people not able to turn for some reason and causing it to spam PD, then as you slowly whittle it down, healing it for 4k with a badly timed nuke. Its sad but just about any encounter in this game where you shouldnt be hitting the mob at certain times b/c of healing it or annoying effects are generally the hardest without being able to insure the people you are with are not slow. Same goes for Glavoid or Ulhuadshi, or any other NM like that.

P.S. The nice thing about fairy is its all in one little spot to sit there and pop lower tier hands seal NM and then pop body seals NM, and in the midst if you have right jobs or dual boxing, can kill Fuath for +2 upgrades.

There's 2 versions of it. The older version wasn't as flashy but both of them are altered Jump animations.


Also I don't recall ever seeing a mob use this. Could this be a future animation for Ultima?

first ones been in the game since september last year...
it looks player-based so maybe it was used in a WotG mission (my guess is it might be used by Larzos in "When Wills Collide") Looks rather purple/evilish.

Note the stats on the Cuauhtli Harness, Cuauhtli Harness +1, and Mextli Harness.

Mextli is Cuauhtli Harness+2, so it's more than likely considered a set with the Cuauhtli Headpiece dispite the name change.

Maybe the 'fixes' to Immanence, Efflux, Saboteur, Divine Caress will be DURATION style buffs instead of "Seal" type buffs that wear off after next use. If Efflux and Saboteur lasted for all spells for 60 seconds, it would be pretty damn sexy.

A lot of the old items are listed again because they are now dbox-able or drop from new mobs. While not "new", there were changes made so they were included in the update.

tiger drop nin seals at a lower rate, believe it or not. It pops out at least double the amount of whms. i found it the hard way and i thought its just bad luck, but its not after doing for friends too

if u want NIN body, go for ironclad in altep. they drop alot more there
