This is exactly what have happened; I bet some sicken individual would even follow your shout group especially going after cat and wait for the yellow moment to claim your near death NM.

I agree with Blowfin the advantage is definitely on the waiting group and this should not be the way...

The advantage goes to the groups that don't claim NMs because NMs all randomly go yellow at some point.

Last I checked, leeching wasn't cheating. It's kind of lazy, but it isn't outright cheating.

Finding a code or a glitch somewhere that would allow you to go from level 1 to 90 with the click of your mouse? That would be cheating, but pretty sure no one's doing that.

My money is on a lot of these people are excluded from leeching in Cleaves because they're retarded so they all deem cleaves/leeching as cheating.

It's like the ??? trade macro. If you beat them to pop, you're botting.

Ok i jsut read that thread and my head really hurts...And supposedly that Soma person has 2 relics too...you'd think after playing long enough to do that, theyd have some clue on game mechanics... And on a side note, FU PUDDINGS!!! So many deagros messing up my chains!

Also, my friends and I have stopped inviting random pickups in Port Jeuno who need zone clears from NMs we're going to kill anyways. They're incapable of following the most simple of directions (for example, 'just stand there and DO NOT engage the NM' or 'erase the NM's slow from this specific DD and keep him hasted'), and they find new and innovative ways to throw unnecessary wrenches into the easiest of fights.

Hehe, thanks, Eiffel from my LS drew them. He's got a lot of FFXI work around lying around. The Avatar I got for free when I introduced my LS to Smn burns years ago. Was a bitching "Thanks for the exp" heh.

And man, I know about people messing up fights. I joined a PuG Grauberg Boss a week ago and some people are just so stupid. Tank was a ninja and he was freaking out when the Whms weren't spamming Slow and Blind on the NM. Like, caps lock freaking out. He constantly WS'd when the NM would be healed from Melee and when questioned he said "I'M TOO BUSY TANKING TO PAY ATTENTION"

Did he have really obnoxious /party macros too? If it's the guy I'm thinking of he was pretty horrific in a basic exp setting too.

Unfortunately in regards to the ownership of relics/mythics/emps and understanding game mechanics...there is sadly no direct correlation. I should really stop reading the official forums during my very brief lunch breaks.

I'll often bring along various random people because I feel sorry for them that they can't get this boss or caturae clear or haven't been able to find anyone to help them with this seal or that.

Every time I do my husband complains because they inevitably cause problems that we'd not normally have.

He claims that every noob I insist on bringing along out of guilt cancels out the presence of a good player to the point that we might have 6-8 people but really, it's only a solo fight.

Ya, he did. I remember one time a LS mate happened to join a PuG Itza fight with Iobox. I believe he kept Debuffing Itza even though he was told/being told not to debuff.
