I'm considering selling off the rest of my stock. Also, I'm slowing down my Alex gain. As you can see from my sig, I have quite a few months before it really matters. My quick jump was mostly from buying out major stockpiles of other people. I bought something like 15.5k Alex from two sellers. The other 3k Alex was minor sellers or self-farmed. I've farmed about 600 Alexandrite solo, I think.

umm cuz in actuallity gear has little meaning. I mnk/dnc tanked in cheap level 50 gear and cheap hand 2 hand @ 75. Didn't die. @ 75 I solo an IT fly in caedaver mire as mnk/nin just from a well timed 100 fists, Only to kill my fly befor landing the final blow on the parties fly. And our whm (my b/f) didn;t need to cure me more then once. And my gear was not the greatest. Gear only slightly enchances your skills and you need to stack it to really see a difference.

I know it's been quoted and posted a couple of times, but man, just look at that post. Breathe it in! Self-admitted gimp mnk/dnc at 75 using a piss-poor weapon. Bragging about soloing an IT fly with a "well-timed" Hundred Fist. Admitting this happened WHILE THE PARTY WAS FIGHTING SOMETHING ELSE.

I am beside myself with a giddy incredulous laughter. The best part, in my opinion, is the admitted use of gear when "stacked" which is what everyone got into an uproar about in the first place; the ability to swap out entire sets of gear to always be wearing the most of the best for everything you do.

I think you pretty much described my predicted direction of these threads from long ago. Once they blew through the Starcades, Krystals, and so on, it's basically a witch hunt of progressively lesser evils where the amount of butthurt here tends to far exceed the cited retardation in absurdity.
