You could technically create a pseudo poll by making multiple responses back to back and having people thumbs up the response that they vote for.

Not sure how well that would fly with SE, but it's an option.

the REAL reason, is they are phasing out playonline. This means they are getting rid of the use of it. Playonline will only be used as a launcher by september. SE choose C&B through a corprate decision. Playonline was a third party way for the non japanese to pay for ffxiv. Since japanese use different currency we really can not pay them directly due to the exchange rate, and possibly large fees to switch our currency into theirs. This is why japanese can pay SE directly. And in be for you name companies like blizzard, most mmo are seperated by region. And We pay the division of said company. Like european players pay blizzards european division ect. What you guys should understand, is SE did not forsee that we the players would have issues. Our issues are out of the hands of SE and it is the issue of your bank or credit union or credit card company verses click and buy. As well as click and buy verses your region. SE did inform the community reps that they are looking into better options.

Why does it seem to me like she's just making stuff up? I mean, come on, I find it hard to believe that non-jps can't pay SE directly due to different currency. Varying rate of exchange is something any company will have to take into account if they do any kind of international business, be it buying or selling. If that really is the reason, then SE is even more backwards in how they do business than I thought. Wtf why can't they just charge us in yen then, or at least give us that option, and let our banks/CC companies do the maths?

There IS almost zero reason to care about your dps, stuff already dies fast enough, without food. All meele do is just come to proc, you won't see anyone poping an NM they need a proc on and killing it as fast as possible. unless they don't care about procing, so in a weird way, killing fast can actually be a burden.

I think it has to do with the stupidity of the official forums. It's in our nature to want to correct people's bad errors with the right information. But unfortunately the majority of posters there are helpless. :< Really best to just nod and walk away.

Personally, I'm under the impression that SE is going bankrupt and shutting down their own FFXI accounting department so that's why they are forwarding it to Click and Buy. Also, I'm thinking there's some reason Click and Buy was chosen... I'm more skeptical to think it was just because it was the best service available.

I'd love it if we could just pay SE directly through paypal. At least then I wouldn't have to open another account with some company I don't even know.

Kind of hilarious, but he's right. After spending something like 20 hours looking for ninja feet (with 8/8 and 6/6 on the upgrades rotting in my bank) I gave up while spitting as much venom as I could at everyone who would listen.
