Kind of hilarious, but he's right. After spending something like 20 hours looking for ninja feet (with 8/8 and 6/6 on the upgrades rotting in my bank) I gave up while spitting as much venom as I could at everyone who would listen.

How ironic. NIN was one of the first pairs I got when I was CWing for my BLU feet. Also got two SMN (on top of the +1 I already had), four SAM, and every other Vunkerl job besides DRG before BLU dropped. I was so happy when they dropped though, it took me probably three CW sessions averaging about three hours each.

Think I have feet for 17/20 jobs now, just missing MNK, SCH (the pair I got I gave to someone else) and DRG.

I'll take feet from gold boxes over doing Bastion for legs. I can get the feet while doing other things, doing Bastion is just a giant waste of time. LolBrainjacked. Lol, killed the Martello in 3 hits.

Takes like 20 mins or so to get enough points from Bastion to get legs, and you have total control over which pair you get. Feet is totally luck based (even if you keep lights within the correct range you still have practically zero control over which pairs drop). I'd sooner take 20 mins - or let's say an hour if you're truly unlucky with fights - and guarantee myself of something than leave it almost entirely up to chance. If you get feet while doing other things, congrats on being lucky, but I'm sure we all know someone who has spent 10+ hours farming feet without getting the pair they want.

I'm torn on it. I had incredible luck getting BST, MNK, WAR, and RNG, but it took us 2 or 3 attempts to finally get THF for a friend in a cleave party. First time there we get MNK, BLM, and WHM to drop in minutes, unfortunately the WHM didn't make it in time. Autolotted the moment he got to Buburimu. The WHM had given up after the last 5'ish hour cleave party because he'd only use them for Auspice and barspells. Go back to farm Itza pops, and first gold chest with no lights has WHM boots. Some times there's no rhyme or reason.

THF was my bane farming, Even worse, we needed 2 (one for me, one for a friend) Dunno how long it took to farm 2, but it was a huge inconveniance and annoyance.. also, still lacking blu feet even though I've been 8/8 for months =/

Gimps find bastion easier, people who do stuff find feet easier, it's not hard to understand. Gimps can't xp without a whole alliance, and they have a terrible kill speed, so they see very few feet and lose lots on them anyways. Everyone else has been full of feet since forever because they rain constantly while you are cleaving for KIs. Gimps only need one or two pairs of pants/shoes, everyone else needs twenty. Getting 2k points is easier than getting the specific 2 pairs of feet you want. Getting 20k points is a massive waste of time and getting 20 feet happens by accident without making any effort.

That is fucking bullshit. I did (taking a break) events in aby constantly, but dnc feet just wouldn't drop so I had to farm it on the side with friends for forever when we weren't doing events. Random generator is random no matter if you're gimp or not.

On the other hand, when your LS knows you really need a specific drop, it'll drop the one time you're late to the event. Happened to me with BLU feet.

I've never had any trouble with feet, and I'm at 12/20 so far. BLM took a little bit but that was only like 2-3 hours burning with another BLU that was going for something else. COR took a teeny bit of time, but that was maybe like 3.5 hours. Those were my longest to date; most of the other stuff either dropped in an alliance for me while we were building time or happened to drop fairly quickly quickly... though I've had people vent their frustrations at farming feet too, so maybe I'm just lucky...

Yeah I think this is why I never got my hands on kitty pants, two days after I quit a friend used my popset (which I was fine with, I had no intention of coming back) and got them for his mule. I think I went 0/15 in the end and just got tired of it, farming diorite and Despot got to be too aggravating to even bother with anymore, and I refused to finish my WAR to 75 without them.

Shit, I managed to get ebody with little difficulty when I was 73, but Byakko just hated me. Fuck sky. FUCK. SKY.

Suck that shit up. I farmed THF feet, by myself, in the rain, sleet, and snow, walking uphill both ways... on my hands.

This. I did it yesterday for Shadowstalker. I typed in all caps how tired I was of RDM feet dropping (although none had dropped). Within 15 minutes, WHM and RDM feet popped in chest.

Shit's pretty simple if you have BLU leveled, and incredibly simple if you have a WHM mule for cures.

Either way, I had all eight of each that I needed long before I had bothered with beginning to cleave for Empyreans.

I remain a believer in my tinfoil hat theory. The guy running things over there had his parents murdered in an alleyway over Dragon Quest when he was a boy and this was his master plan to get revenge on Enix, who merged with Square. All of this is a revenge story to redeem his folks so he's gutting and destroying everyone affiliated in some way with the incident.

I'm goddamn tired of farming Nin body seals. Spending a couple of days now, my rate is around 1-2 seals per 4 hours rotfl... 9/10 and can't get the last one for the love of god.

Asuran is and always has been the WORST WS choice mnks could use, it was never good for anything other then to stop enemy spells, even howling fist is better then asuran.

Why is it the worst weapon skill?
It cannot critical OR double attack, it has VERY low mods 10% STR and VIT it is just 8 weak hits that in all honesty you probably would have done more damage not weapon skilling and just normal punching.

Still not convinced? try it under a brew and watch those amazing numbers, it's a joke.

It wasn't actually. Doing other things in zone with feet as a side benefit =/= doing dom ops (unless you mean purely in the form of xp; which you didn't because you're a sarcastic, idiotic, gimp).

What NM are you doing for nin body seals? Yag works the best if price isn't an issue; 1-2seals per 4 hours is you doing something terribly wrong. If you wanted to double up doing plates for ochain/durblahblah could go for ICs; but outside of the plates I think that's a terrible idea.

I was doing only Yag actually, price wasn't the issue since we farmed pops ourself quickly. And I dunno how I can do something wrong Popping !! + THF around = a lot of seals, but unlucky on Nin. My friends finished a couple of hands and other body AF's in the mean time lol.

Meh, random number generator is random then. 4hrs seems like a little much assuming even seal distribution; if you keep farming the pops for it I guess that makes more sense. I thought you meant specifically killing yag.
