Wouldn't he be better off building a -PDT and -MDT instead of a specific elemental set? I mean the options are pretty easily obtained
now-a-days. You can get the Dark Rings in Kon [Aby] for -5% BDT, MDT and PDT... There's the Twilight Neck, and -3% Waist piece.

Top that off with your Iron Ram Lance and you have -28% alone.


I'll have to remind myself to post my idea for macro improvement over there. Not sure if it's been posted before so I'll have to lurk around.
Basically it'd allow for people on PS2/Xbox macro a full set of gear using one macro with the current system.

If they'd allow for each line to support a higher number of characters, then we could use semi colons as a seperator. Then we could lay macros out like so:

Line1: /equip main "weapon1"; /equip sub "weapon2"; /equip ranged "imabow"; /equip ammo "arrowed"
Line2: /equip head "helm"; /equip neck "collar"; /equip ear1 "earring"; /equip ear2 "earring"
Line3: /equip body "armor"; /equip hands "gloves"; /equip ring1 "ring"; /equip ring2 "ring"
Line4: /equip back "cape"; /equip waist "belt"; /equip legs "pants"; /equip feet "boots"

I wanna say I sit around 60 if I'm carrying the added pieces for my CB set. I don't hold them on me all the time though.

If I would lug around my full whm gear I'd easily take over 100 pieces, but this also includes melee whm.
Standardly I already lugged about 70 spaces worth of whm gear around which included Cure potency, enfeebling, bar-spells, divine/macc, mnd, dark magic, haste and idle sets.
Not including any meds either.

We proc red on some NMs to lock them from using 2hrs. Good example is Carabosse, proc red under 50, and zerg it before she can benediction.

If you read over my first post, You would see I clearly said this.

I mean, you can actually do things during a fight that can greatly increase your chances of getting specific items. I bet no one in the old days would have complained if the Weakness system was introduced to Nidhogg, or any ground King, Increasing how many and how often he dropped Abjurations? Nope. Or how about a Weakness system for King Behemoth? Hit a Blue and greatly increase your odds for Dring? I bet it would have been praised highly for adding a way to increase everyones odds of getting better/more drops.

admittedly I don't repeat it in every single post because i expect a certain level of intelligence from people I talk too. maybe I'm wrong in that.

but from this first post, I've been saying and adding, "I Like the proc system because it gives me a way to enhance the end result of a fight (Drops)".

I even said in a very recent post:

This one isn't as clear, But i did mean for drop rates.

Really this is probably my fault, I seem to be giving the false Impression Procs are super great for everything. My original Message is really just, It greatly raises drop rates depending on proc, and it gives most jobs a use in abyssea (Rather it be small like Mnk for h2h procs, DRK for Scythe, PLD for Sword, Etc).

While most people will stick to easy way (I know i do) and do blue NMs on blunt for MNK/WHM stuff, Yellow with BLU/NIN, BLM/BRD, WHM, and a Tank, it still attempted to give jobs a use.

Edit: While from the first post i have mentioned other things, My original message and intent I thought were rather clear... It increases Drop rates (yay) and tries to give each job a use.
