    I went and dicked around in Dynamis - Buburimu yesterday. Looking back over my logs today, all the NMs I fought dropped their job's AF. White Mage Quadav dropped Cleric's Cap. Summoner Yagudo dropped Summoner's Bracers. Warrior Quadav dropped Warrior's Mufflers.

    It looks to me like we've got another "15 Demon NMs" situation where the original jobs get a higher drop rate off the related Notorious Monster. Does anyone else have experience with this?

    I think that has always been the case. I particularly remember WHM hat dropping off the quadav NM every time we did bubu since we needed to kill boss for the 1hr time extension.

    Now if only there was a way to get the desired -1 easier :/ Been farming tav for the past few days and so far out of 4 runs I've gotten ONE -1 body and not the one I wanted. /sigh

    In Xarc, I seem to have that sorta luck. In Bubu... I honestly don't do enough beastmen NMs anymore to really be sure unless they're up for right after I finish statue farming. I don't recall them having a particularly high drop rate on their AF, but again, small sample and whatnot. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case though.

    Honestly, expect dynamis to be packed and deal with it. You guys act like you are the only one with rights to fight the mobs you want and get currency.

    I mostly just wish they hadn't nerfed AoEing. It brought us from three successful proc methods down to one and tripled (or more) the traffic at JA camps.

    Yeah, that I can agree with. Honestly its not the players, its the system. Either they need to add more mobs, or tweet the system again.

    If you are doing salvage before dynamis, try doing dynamis first or vice versa. If not could always try and do dynamis after your event instead of before or wake up 2 hours before you leave for work and do dynamis then and get all the sleep you need when you die.

    Can you really blame them though? Ochain pld's were literally gathering up 2 full sets of mobs to hold...how else could they have fixed that (other than unbreaking Ochain)

    They could have balanced it instead of destroying it. I honestly think competition would have "nerfed" the effective currency per person if they had left it alone until now. Ochains can only gather up two monster populations if there aren't other Ochains doing the same thing.

    another nice run today! 175 coins each(was a bst duo)
    yesterday was only 145ish( the one with high random always gets the extras)

    cant wait to try it with 3 bsts to take control over the whole zone of one type of mobs.

    -_- had an issue tonight where the fucking 5th TE in buburimu didn't want to repop, took it's sweet ass time of 30 minutes, nothing ever showed up on wide scan, anyone else have a problem where the 5th would take unreasonably long to pop?

    One of the biggest issues with the system is that JA procs have 20% proc rate. I've gone over 30 spells and no magic proc on the mob which is retarded.

    Also, why do avatar BPs count as magic when they're all JAs... /sigh. AND yet they dont azure in abyssea at all. SE is so inconsistent.

    You realize this isn't a post your drops thread, and everyone knows how many coins a duo can pull in?

    I thought it was just me, so didn't post incase commenting would be construed as douchebaggery.

    I am curious however to know how many coins somebody competent would consider to be borderline failure per run?





    (It really can't be just me that thinks 175 is mediocre, and that isn't being flippant even considering zone congestion.)

    well to pull +175per person you would have to be pretty pimped or have a very good strategy with job combination i have tried dnc/ thf/dnc and didnt come as much in quf infact maybe got more in beaucidine yagudo camp with dnc/nin thf/dnc pulling like 140 coins per run(and split so 70 each)

    then again when we tried dnc and thf/dnc in quf we did rapts/mantas/weapons maybe IF we change to fatbats/tribats/something migth be better

    and duo can pull a lot depending on the jobs, i dont think 175 coins PER person is mediocre infact its pretty good not many jobs with mediocre gear can pull that maybe only bst and a dnc/thf maybe?

    For me personally I think 130 is my fail point per person on bst I would think that even the gimpiest bst could pull that. I think anything over 150 per person is fine really.I've heard of people going 200 each a run.
    For not bst I think 100 is the fail point per person.
    And I don't think I'd personally do dynamis if I wasn't able to pull in 100 a run

    A bst solo is actually like having 2 players. Jugpets hit hard and you don't need to split loot with them. Solo wise should be getting 125 minimum on bst. Duo with other jobs assuming zone isn't insanely packed can hit 75-100 per person.
