does that make any fucking sense to you? thats "smart" according to you?

In city areas it was that the magic procs rotated in the element cycle(Fire>Earth>Water etc), do we have any info whether that goes for Valk/Bubu/Qufim/Tav too? Could be why your Dia and Stone didn't proc at all.

People said this, I frankly didn't believe it. If it cycled he still should have procced between dia and stone spam for over 3min eventually. It's just ridiculously low because they figure you don't have as much recast restrictions over magic spells as you do over JA/WS proccing. But the proc rate is still horrid, which is why I loved dreamlands since I never had to do it again.

I'm looking for the few posts early in this thread now, will link to them when I find it. I remember that being posted while I was in a Dyna windy, we tried it out and proc'd magic that way rather fast.

Edit: And the cycling was for the mobs, not time. Say, first mob you claim is Earth proc, the next one would be Water, etc. You can't really confirm it 100% as there's always a chance that you got unlucky with other elements, but it has worked for us in cities in the past pretty well.

Magic Proc thing this was where the discussion about it started.

I have myself in the log staggering with Repose, Dia, Silence, and then Repose... so I don't think the element-related shifting theory is correct.

Come to think of it, spamming Diaga for AoE killing was pretty obvious proof that the system wasn't element dependent, right?

I'm fairly certain I've seen physical blue magic stagger, but I don't have concrete evidence to support this. That kinda throws a wrench in the theory, no?

It definitely can, considering Whirl of Rage was another way to AoE Stagger for a while... I think.

I think Physical blue magics all have an "element" associate with them anyway, just like WS and JAs (skullbreaker is fire, brainshaker is thunder etc.. Sneak Attack is wind)

Not that I think the theory is true, just that physical blue magic wouldn't disprove it.

Nonelemental. Their additional effects, however, seem to correlate with proper elements. It's still considered magic, it just doesn't have an element so to speak. I've proc'd with it several times.

Yes it does, I have spammed foot kick in the past for magic procs with mage spamming dia, hate magic procs though.

Yeah I've just spammed debuffs and aspir while sleeping shit while melee fought another. Even then proccing still sucked. Except those few times got it on the first spell. Also I can also say I've gotten the proc with spells of the same element in a row. Hell same spell for that matter.

Few pages back I posted what my group does. Basically we have a quota of 100 coins per real person that enters as minimum. Average geared jobs pull in 150 per real person, and well geared pull in 200 coins per real person in COP. If you get lucky with competition can even get as many as 225-250 coins per real person. If you are not hitting those numbers then you either: had trouble with TEs, have too much competition, or having horrible luck proccing (aka bad time management). Most the time its competition that hinders you. This goes for all COP zones too.

Also to add i guess. Last bubu we did (4 person group) there wasnt really anyone in zone, just 2 other groups. So we did the TEs and normal stuff, then of course 12+ entered and flooded the place. So I tried something different (as bst). While the others in my group did their normal routine, I did the beastmen rotation + NMs. Since no one touches them outside of links on TEs, it was pretty open. Basically just mass kill all relevant mobs and rotate back through them and pick up the NMs. Unfortunately no HQ dropped from the NMs but was pulling in currency faster than i would have competing vs the 12 other people. Even with the competition for my group we still managed to pull out 800+ currency (200ish/person). So i guess if its really packed can always do beastmen style like you do in glacier (only applies to bubu though since other COP zones dont have nm beastmen). Just remember though the beastmen only have 3-4 NM job types per mob type if you plan just to farm NMs for 100s.

If you're going for 100s, why did you not kill the dragons? I also fail to see how bringing more BSTs to dynamis helps? Why would you not bring a job that can kill/proc faster?

We do THF/DNC and BLU/DNC and easily pull 400-450 per run in bubu. Bringing more people just seems pointless. The only benefit you gain is faster kills on the TEs (assuming you all split up).

Edit: I guess I assumed you were using 4 BSTs since you quoted Kayu. Honestly, I can't understand why anyone would ever bring more than one BST. Jobs should complement each other, not do the same exact thing.

I agree, TE speed and competition affect how much you get the most. The more people you got, the faster you can do the TE. Sometimes you just get fucked when they are in shitty ass spots though. My fastest was 5 minutes duo, slowest was 30 min solo when I died in crappy high lvl quadav spot. Of course the zone sizes matter too, bubu qufim TE are alot faster than Valk are etc.

I pretty much just farm out of the way stuff when there's alot in the zone. Not even gonna bother competing. I'll lose a game hour or two running there, but at least I get constant kills once I make it.

Solo bst in perle armor can get 150 pretty easily. Some days the drop per kill is just low, some days they are higher.

Including my shitty 30 coins in a day and 150 drop runs when I was first learning, I've managed to collect 11000 coins in 1 month, avg 350 a day or so 3 boxing. 30 was low, high was 550. Lately I've been avging more near 400 a day though. It's not as great as going in for 2 hours solo with eachchar on bst, but fuck doing dynamis for 6 hours every day.

Oh yeah, I hit a white proc today with under 1 minute left, would have been pissed if I didn't kill it in time lol

450 easy is really hard to believe for that kind of duo. You would need like 0 competition and it would still require a lot of luck.
