Meh, my general rule for Dynamis is, if it doesn't proc till it dies from melee then whatever. Turning is just a waste of time from what I've seen. Still annoying to see some mobs not proc at all though.

Are there some rules to procing maybe? I dont think I've ever proced while a mob was using a TP move. I'm also fairly certain you cant proc while the mob is stunned (ie after violent flourish).

Also, seeing as how SE probably ripped code from abyssea, I have a feeling they fucked something up with their spaghetti code: You cant proc a mob more than once, whereas in abyssea, WoE and VW you can. Perhaps they included a variable to dynamis mobs that checks if its been proced or not. If you do an action that registers a proc while its unable to (stun / TP move / miss), it thinks the mob has been proced therefor you are unable to proc it...doesnt really explain why you still wouldnt get currency as if you proced it, could be 2 variables (did !! load, did proc go through...!! required to get currency) so it changed the "had it been proced" when your JA proced it, but the "did the !! load" failed to change because you did it at a time it cant load.

I've almost certainly proc'd while the mob was stunned before. Definitely during or while it was readying a TP move.

Proc'd a scorpion in Bubu while it was using Earth breaker today, sure of it cause it got terror'd high in the air.

No logs no, but I recall taking screenshots of a terror'd orc while it was doing slam dunk, so he was frozen in midair. I'll see if I can find it.

I've procced a mob After a Voilent Flourish Stun, I've proc'd a mob while Terror'd (Feral Howl), and I've proc'd a mob during a 2hour (Which actually Erases his 2hour), and I've proc'd during a TP Move.

I have no proof, But I am 300% Positive of everything above.

what about the stunned thing? I know in abyssea if you cast stun on a mob terror from red, it says no effect. I havent tried in abyssea since I dont go with any jobs able to cast stun natively.

I've done it during Sudden Lunge stun which is pretty much the most retarded stun players are capable of using.

I usually do Violent Flourish to a Step, And i've proc'd on the step quite often.

on 2hr Disappearing if your proc during, I did this with PLD and THF, If you proc them with PD/inv up it wears them off :D Quite nice

I do Presto -> Violent -> Wild -> Step -> WS and I've procced on Violent, Wild, and Step.

In Abyssea, you also can't proc with moves that successfully stun (like the BLU spell), so we know that they didn't duplicate the code that way because you can proc with Violent Flourish and it has a very high stun rate in Dynamis in my experience.

I've personally proc'd with feral howl and i've proc'd it while it was terrored from feral howl.

You can proc while stunned, and proc while doing tp move. I've proc'd many many cactuars mid 2000 needles and 4k needles.

Well, I kill around 180 mobs a day, about 120 of them get staggered with the dnc/ the others with the bst/dnc. wiki says 1-2% proc so my chances are pretty good. I've tried just staggering with the 2 dnc, but proc speed is so slow I get annoyed.

This is the key if you roll the dice and bring a DNC/00 instead of a thief. Dnc should be triggering a majority of the mobs.

I have definitely proc'd during tp moves and after stun. I proc a lot when funguars are in the middle of kicking me.
