Well, I kill around 180 mobs a day, about 120 of them get staggered with the dnc/ the others with the bst/dnc. wiki says 1-2% proc so my chances are pretty good. I've tried just staggering with the 2 dnc, but proc speed is so slow I get annoyed.

I've never noticed a clear difference between the procs. Slept, stunned, terrorized, I've not really seen a situation where the it won't proc. I've used Violent flourish followed by my pet's Sudden Lunge and Sudden Lunge did proc while the mob was still stunned by Florish. Even seeing other people procs I don't think there is much of a pattern to look for.

Really for the most part it just seems completely random and probably isn't intended to be anything more then that.

Since I tend to operate alone as BST I don't see any White procs but I know a few DNC friends that tried White procs and most of them seem to get very few and one who was getting them almost every run. Got to love Random Numbers...

If you're going for 100s, why did you not kill the dragons? I also fail to see how bringing more BSTs to dynamis helps? Why would you not bring a job that can kill/proc faster?

We do THF/DNC and BLU/DNC and easily pull 400-450 per run in bubu. Bringing more people just seems pointless. The only benefit you gain is faster kills on the TEs (assuming you all split up).

Edit: I guess I assumed you were using 4 BSTs since you quoted Kayu. Honestly, I can't understand why anyone would ever bring more than one BST. Jobs should complement each other, not do the same exact thing.

Oh woops, guess I wasn't clear. When I went off on my own that run, I was just doing beastmen for currency with nm chances. Dragons in bubu drop hundreds ya but can sometimes be rough with pet hate not being consistent.

Also you assumed wrong in 4 bsts. No, the group i use usually goes: Bst/dnc(me), thf/dnc, dnc/x, sam/x. We have a small competition going on to see who gets more white procs. The Dnc is like 2/20ish runs and the sam is 5/10 runs.

As for bringing more people is pointless. I cannot argue more against this. Assuming every person is worth their weight, each person brings in another 150-200 coins (until you bring in like 20+ then that might be pushing it). If you aren't super antisocial and have a group of friends working together to upgrade, you can get weapons done pretty fast with more you bring. What is pointless is bringing tons of the SAME jobs. Just dont be retarded. Spread the job selection out so you cover ws/magic/ja mobs and its all good.

That's definately pretty gay then. I only started when a friend was saying he was getting 3/5 solo. Maybe there's some secret method to hitting them lol, time stagger when mob does ws or something? Sadly no 100 last night for me, puts me at 7/12 now.

2 heavy DD and a SMN should be able to do it. WHM and a BRD if you want to do more then one and not rely on PD.

i just don't get it, i got nin/dnc thf/dnc whm/dnc 90 twash, 90 kanagi, full af+2, if proc easy follow with darkness SC, kill very fast, proc even faster, TE takes from 5 to 10 min up to 15min and i never gotten that much o.o 384 was my max, 10+ in bubu all the time and all families are getting farmed..

...unlesss you're a server that wasn't MERGED recently... .. probably should try dunes too

NIN/DNC x3 THF/DNC WHM/??? x2-3, BLM/RDM with the occasional DNC/ when they're able to stay up later, 2/3 of NIN have Blade: Hi, third should have theirs hopefully in a day or two depending on their school work..

THF opens with aeolian edge when we pull mass amounts for initial TH, BLM Sleepga 1, then 2 then breakga and repeat, and then it's just proc time, it's a bit easier having someone dual box BLM and supplying crowd control when we pull a good number of mobs that we all wont be on at once, usually never more then 10 at us at a time, WHMs subs change depending on if people play our mules, bring them along on JA spam subs.

I don't get it either. My trio being bst x2 and thf has never cleared more then 310. We are very efficient and are killing the entire time we're in dynamis, proc rate high, etc etc. I'm not going to say competition is the reason or anything. I'm truly at a loss as to how people in this thread say their average is double what my groups is when we seem to be doing the exact same thing.
