That's a pretty average run for me single coin wise if competition isn't an issue in any CoP zone. I go DNC/Nothing and WHM/THF. The main difference was two white procs tonight.
question! does the person without sub need to kill all TE or anyone on the group can kill em and get the chance for white stagger?
anyone can kill TE, the person procing the stagger has to trigger the the white and have no sub
and to get 5 singles from mob, you need to kill with job that doesn't have SJ?
Perhaps there's other reasons besides just Refresh II you're using a RDM, but if that's the only reason, Ballads are gonna give you more MP than Refresh II.
There are perhaps some exceptions; but against extremely weak stuff, WHM boxes are overkill in healing and BRDs are usually gonna be way more optimal.
Yeah blu is the strongest job to kill fast. But I prefer the dbl dnc/ these days. If your rdm mule has cdc then all the better! I guess you could evisc on it too as well. Whm/dnc works too like i mentioned a month ago.
well did dnc(no sub) and bst/dnc today got one white proc but it ended in the same numbers as x2 bsts wich it was like 175-180 per person i am guessing i would need some ubber gear for dnc to be that usefull without sub in dyna.
This is what i dont get, you say your average whit x2bst is 175-180 coins PER PERSON, we get that total for the 2 of us not per person and we kill nonstop and proced like most of the mobs, always have mobs to kill we both use yullie for TH.
We've had runs whit competition as well as runs like completely solo and we never gotten close to those numbers can you elaborate on how u get that ammount, im seriously tinking we doin something wrong or bad or idk seeing all you guys post.
that number is for good runs not godly but good runs, normally its just like 145-150 per person, for 2 bsts is very simple, if you play lets say on a non dick time(plus normally people dont wanna mess with 2 bsts) we do quf tribats/weapons/raptors me and my friend abuse the shit of snarl lets say you do stagger>ws>snarl>claim second mob and let yuli finish the first one and rotate.
we have24% haste tp set and we use full dd axes(and of course a ws set) and only exhange them if we need to reward our pet in my case y use tona/charmers merlin and he uses tona/pet regain one.
in the end it all falls on the luck on your staggers when staggers are good and coins are good you can reach 175+ when its bad you still 130 per person, staggers can be a bitch srlslrlslrs sometimes i spend 3+ min trying to stagger one mob that i just say fuck it and kill it and the next one staggers at the first JA.
I find our runs vary a lot depending on who else is around and just how quickly we can kill. We go THF/DNC, DNC/ with a d/boxed RDM alt and some days we pull in crazy numbers and others no matter what we do, it's kinda crappy. I'm going to get DNC levelled for the alt because he has BST.
I dualbox the WHM and he doesn't engage. His contribution to damage is Dia II and the occasional Holy to kill something.
When I need to rest him I'll pull two monsters, repose one and dia the other then rest. That way both have TH. I kill both of them, then pull another monster, stagger it and typically bring it to very low HP and then go find one more. The WHM stands up and casts Holy, Banish 2, whatever on the one low HP un-THed mob and then THs the fourth monster. That way I can rest for the time it takes me to kill four monsters. It doesn't fill his MP bar if everything staggers quickly, but it gives a nice 4-500 MP boost almost every time. That's his only contribution to damage.
If you're having trouble doing damage, I recommend going through this checklist:
* Are you eating good food? Yes - Good. No - Try Red Curry Buns. If RCBs get you two more currency over a run, they've paid for themselves.
* Are you staggering and then doing damage, or doing damage while you stagger? The former - Do the latter. The latter - Good job.
* Are you gearing for Accuracy or Evasion at all? Yes - U dum. No - Okay.
* Do you have good weapons/gear/capped merits? Yes - Good job. No - Improving your weapons/gear/merits improves your ability to make gil. It's worth it.
Those are the mistakes I see people making. It's easy to gear Dancer, but Dancer gear really matters.
There's a problem. It may be zone congestion, but if you're killing nonstop as quoted, then that doesn't appear to be it. As a solo Bst you should never drop below 100 coins killing nonstop and proc on most, and that is a borderline fail amount. Duo should be able to average more.
Check your gear setups, macros, make sure you're using food, double check your routes, split up to get TEs, fight separate mobs, make sure you're moving camp in a timely fashion etc.
Edit: beaten
What I'd like to see from some of the people bringing in a lot of currency low-man: how many total mobs are you killing on a run, and how many of them were staggered? That (and how much TH did you have?) should pretty much be the only metrics that matter. In other words, the question shouldn't be "how did you get so much currency", it should only be "how do you kill so godly fast?". Or something like that.
Also, yeah, if a BST (or anyone else, for that matter) is slow-killing multiple mobs at once, and there aren't any other mobs left to kill, you're damn right I'm going to take one.
Last night was 118 kills, 99 staggers. I agroed a few things that I didn't want to proc, hence the higher kill/stagger ratio than normal. I also missed TH a few times. All told, probably an average of ~2.3 coins per procced/TH2'd kill not counting 100s, which is what I came up with the last time I ran numbers on my kills.
