You'll be able to get any -1 if you farm dynamis on a regular basis. It's quite sad. Armlets -1, Chapeau -1 etc etc.

Actually I just parsed my logs for "chapeau"...I still havent seen one lol. all my chars have a petasos-1 though...random is random.

It's just bad luck on your part then. Both my friend and I +1'd our hats on like the second day we did Valk together, got -1s not far from each other. Think we saw 1-2 more the same day. xD

I've always had the theory that current time of day, not game day but rl day sometimes dictates drop rates on certain items, sll the Qufim runs we've done have been the same time of day and every run we get spammed by Melee capes, Cleric and Wyrm belts, and DNC -1 feet lol, with they very rare different item dropping now and again.

Any luck to getting pop items for atest nms? Almost done with 2 full runs devoted to farming it and only gotten 1. Maybe different farm area? I'm doing the spot near the pop and the one right above it. Between them there is like 2 plds 1 war 1 rdm... but most the other camps I find are DC/EM

The drop rate for them is an absolute bitch. I think the best strategy is go to in with a lot of people and try to TH every mob, the drop rate is so low that you need volume to make up for it.

I'd love to go in with lots but I'm usually solo. Funny thing is I've gotten 4 of ones I don't need from links and such. Like I'm 4/16ish on them while 1/30+ on what I need. I'd also like to kill more but like I mentioned not alot of pops of the ones I need

One of the main problem is that the mob dispersal is kind of shitty. It would be better if the jobs that dropped the same attestations were all in the same area (like around the tower where the NM pops), but the random placement really works against you.

Went into zone BST/DNC+DNC. Not too bad, two parties there, one's DNC/X + BST/DNC, the other's BST/X + SAM/DNC (lol?). Two soloists. Okay, not too bad, six people won't kill rates. We go in, TEs go well, first 60 minutes go well... and then it turns Hippogryph time again. Guess what? Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR solo BSTs show up. Suddenly Hippogryphs turn into a claimfest, and I swear I was about to start sniping mobs myself. If it weren't for the lucky white we got from a Nightmare Gobbue this night could have turned out a lot worse... only ~320 total currency with the 100.

I no longer have any complaint at your dislike of BST. If it were not for the fact that I love playing on my BST, I would be right in the same boat with you. x.x

There were *7* people, (5 BSTS, a SMN, and myself on DNC) at sheep yesterday when I was doing a run. It was fucking absurd. I *did* start sniping mobs because there would be 2-3 minute windows where nothing was up.

If dumb bsts are dumb enough to try to kill two things at once when they know the shits become an Aery, they deserve to be sniped.

Yesterday I went to valkurm with 6 ppl in the area (4 groups)...no biggie. When I get there, a group of 6 ppl are at the entrance buffing up (yes a full group of 6). I already redid my jobs for valk (not to mention It was 11:15, and I had to leave for work by 1:30, so relocating again wasnt an option), cut the line and went in, then they followed, and when I checked /sea about 15 minutes later, another 4 people entered the area as well.

Still made it with 200+ currency

Yeah, we had several opportunities to snipe, but we'd usually find a lone gryph or two wandering around even during the claimwar, so there was never any real need. We've already agreed that, should there be a dearth of mobs? Snipe snipe snipe. Last night was just ridiculous, with 5/7 of the people on gryphs were solo with 2-3 mobs claimed. Still, 220ish currency + a 100 from white was decent enough for a BST/DNC and DNC/X duo.

Ok gonna throw my hat in the ring now and cave in that all the new Bst are really starting to piss me off. And I'm with you Ken, I love Bst! Always have since 2006 ish when I first took the job up. Every zone again today was 20+ so I do Valk. Today I'm solo and while doing TE I pull the Warchief Tombstone and get a damn Blm add. No biggie. Then a Drg adds. Still no biggie. @3% some dickhead snipes my TE. Is it really that big of a deal? No of course not. But it's not like I'm pulling multiple coin mobs and holding and it wasn't like I was taking forever. Bst knows how it goes, you gotta keep spamming Fight to kill the one mob.

So I get my TEs done and there is a Bst trying to pull 5+ hippos at once. I'm already in a bad mood so I say fuck it and kill the mobs. I get /no spam towards me, but hey, fuck you buddy can't keep it claimed you deserve what you get. I wander a bit, and there are about 4 solo Bst and 2 solo Dnc. All of them are trying to do multiple mobs. Bronze time almost over so fuck it, wanna claim multiples? I pulled out my sniper rifle, I mean Animated Flourish macro, and went to town.

Went to Goobs next and was almost just as bad so I did bynes @flytraps and next bronze time @sheep and didn't have 1 soul near me. Yielded a whopping 116 coins. Prices are starting to drop on Siren so selling while you can still make good profit, but the attraction of dynamis is wavering. I've been bouncing around doing Guttler, as I said I love Bst, but I'm having a hard time deciding if a relic is a good idea...
