While you can definitely keep up with heals unless you pull tons without pdt axes... and yes you can farm faster with something more offensive. But god I hate having to spam food

Anyone here farm Tav? PM I has some questions. XD
Ok I looked threw 121 pages and didnt see this anywhere. I do farm Dynamis valk a bit and was wondering a few things. When ppl farm do they move from camp to camp? Or just stay in one spot? I just want a general idea on that. Also when the time changes to 16 can hippos be proc using ws? Or can they only be proc using JA during 8-16? And if they can be proced using WS during 16-0 what ws will do it? Mind you I go in as bst, and a friend comes along as brd. So on my bst I would be using axes, and the brd would be using daggers/sword/ or staff. I've been trying a few times to proc Hippos using WS during 16-0 and havent been able to do it. Any help would be nice. Thank You
@Zanark
Can't post URL yet but I'm sure you didn't really looked "threw" 121 pages because all your questions have been answered a lot of times in this thread already.
Also, check wiki, the dynamis-valkrum page should answer all your questions.
I would think any bst would be using dipper for dyna farming for the th3. Do you get the occasional 4x currency drop w/out th? IF you have 3x bst's I can see why you'd use different pets than just yuly... but if the are all on 1 mob... I hope you are doing the higher level mobs... cuz the lower level ones will die before you can proc... then again, you probably proc pretty quickly w/ 3x bst/dnc hitting ja's on it..
Also, since it's dipper, the eva axe will keep your costs down better than the pdt axes (I offhand my richardet's for better tp anyway).
It's completely worth it to spam pet food. I go in w/ 2x stacks of zeta's I burn thru most of them in 2 hours, but I usually only use 1 dipper, 2 if I have to tank so many mobs at once that I use Ruw wild.
Even if I spend 2x stacks of zetas (28k~40k if you buy at high prices at ah) I'm still coming out w/ 150 ancient currency. it easily pays for itself.
3x steps and 3x flourishes procs about 60~70% of mobs, and an extra set of steps procs 85~95%ish of them. There are times when mobs are being stingy with procs, but I just kill and move on to the next one. PDT/EVA doesn't really matter at all, stuff gets proc'd either instantly or within 15 seconds, and then it dies before it can act again, so the only time my pets really take any damage is when I have links. I just did the PDT axes for the damage, and utility if I do other stuff with triple bst where it would actually help. (The trials were also incredibly easy, lol)
The DA axe looks really nice, but 21000 bastion points on every character, and then 600 mirrors... yeah.
question regarding tri box farming in dynamis. I could go with my rdm mule, thf/dnc, kannagi nin/dnc vs what julian is doing with tri bst. I can play the thf and nin on two difference screens so It wouldn't be a problem to fight two mobs at the same time and all that. How would this stack up to lvling bst on all 3 chars? Just looking for some thoughts from people who do this regularly.
you are better off doing 3 separate runs of 1 bst then you are tri boxing 1 run.
(to add to what the guy below me said his 270 per run at optimum conditions is 90 coins a character per run. 3 crappy bsts should be getting no less then 120 coins per character per run, even under the worse conditions. (Average is over 150, pimped out bst can net 200+ a run)
I go pretty much daily tri-box with dnc/--, kannagi nin/dnc, whm/thf. This I found to be my most efficient after playing with a few combos as far as coins per run, plus the occasional bonus 100 is nice (2nd best was changing the nin to thf but i found I would average more with the faster kill speed and just the th2). If you looking to get max coins as fast as possible then do what jimbob said. I've considered splitting the dnc char to do a separate 2nd run bst solo but I usually just don't have that kind of time, plus I'm all in on the solo-bst in dynamis haters clubWith my usual tri-box I've been averaging 270+ singles per run now when zones are light, even on bad runs where zone gets over crowded with 20+ I can still manage about 200+.
Should be getting at least 400 with a trio. Best combo by far is thf/dnc, blu/dnc, rdm/dnc. Any other combo is a waste of time. If you've got a thf, there's no reason why you shouldn't be using a blu. Blu is the most efficient and powerful dd versus ep mobs, not to mention the fact that you can round up entire colonies of mobs, eliminating downtime between mobs (especially if there's competition).
How bad are the drop rates for the pop items for the nms in dynamis Valk? I've been farming the higher lvl hippos and for the past 2 runs no pop item has dropped.
Pop items are at least 10% off the EP monsters. Check your mog safe.
Separating them and going 3 times is obviously more efficient coin-wise, but it's not efficient time wise. If you have 6 hours to spend every single day (and deal with a 6 hour window of competition), then go for it. I barely even have enough time to do one dynamis a day. -_- Haven't gotten a chance to go at all in the past 2 days.
edit: 268 coins today, with a shitton of competition and downtime :D 300-350 looking well within reach soon. Was also first time in bubu so I wasted some time on that. Went to the T efts thinking they were the EP ones.byne time seems like SHIT in bubu. I didn't try ravens because that's where everyone was at, and there weren't enough crawlers to support me + one other bst. I thought about trying uragnites but >.> I might next time I do bubu. Gotta love seeing like 6 people in a zone, going in and getting your TEs, and then you check and it's up to like 17-20 now.
Yeah I meant the lost mobs, sorry. Well i go in as bst/dnc I would think dippers TH would help a little with drop rate. Next time I go in I'll have a friend come thf to see if it helps drop rate. Thanks for info!
