My money is on DL dropping these, multiples hopefully. i wouldn't be THAT surpirsed if he only drops 1, or maybe only arch DL drops multiples. but it makes sense for shadow condensed into liquid form to drop from DL. that and they're for the lv 99 relic weapon upgrades, so its gotta be in dyna somewhere. could be Tav mega too i guess

How many of those are needed for 95>99 relic trials? I know they're not live currently, but I remember on test server there was a requirement to gather a certain amount of "."
If we put "Umbral Marrow" in place of "." we should get the approximate amount of needed items, no?
1000, and didn't they say they added the items, but not the trials? Also, has anyone tried killing the high level Demons in Dynamis Xarca? Maybe those drop it, since for relic +2 armor you get the item off high lvl CoP mobs.
+2 items drop in glacier/xarc too, body in xarc and head in glacier
I really hope umbral marrow doesnt drop form shadowlord, doing 1000 times SL is just ugh. . . And if you think that Pandemonium warden is the counterpart for the 1000 mythic weapon items thats even more ugh...
Its really surprising noone found the items yet. Either its from dynamis with restricted SJs (normal mobs, I realyl doubt that), from dynamis NMs, from dynamis shadow lord, from dynamis CoP zones, or its from Voidwatch (which would make the least sense since the last couple trials allways had to do something with dynamis)
It has to be considered that the number "1000" won't necessarily be the final number, maybe it was just a placeholder.
1000 Arch SL kills for each weapon sounds a bit too demanding, considering that you can't reasonably kill it more than a few times every day.
yeah, either its gonna drop from nms too, maybe fomors or high lv fomors, any zone mega, maybe arch-mega only, who knows. i wouldn't be surprised tho if its DL only (possibly drops multiples), and you need 1000 .... until they drop the requirements 6 months from now and you only need 30. maybe the tauri in tavnazia? i suppose anything in dyna can be argued to be "shadow" affiliated
and i think ppl have been killing the higher lv normal mobs enough for the +2 items that a marrow would have shown up by now if they dropped from them.
Well the "Umbral" in the text would make one think it's connected to Diabolos, which would mean CoP in some way.. I guess we will find out soon.
Don't really count on them dropping requirements for rare weapons. As far as I can remember they only did it once for mythics from 50k to 30k alex (and that was pretty fast, doesn't really matter imho) and another time for Relic trials.
Tbh I used to say that 1500 Heavy Metal plates was too much for Empys as well (and 100 dices for fake empies too... expecting players to spend 20 millions gil to upgrade a lolfakeempy is very "balanced" right?), and I still stand by my position. A lot of the 90>95 trials were retarded in the requirements and in the advantages they offered.
Still, looking around at the number of people who completed level 95 empies already, it seems that requirement wasn't as harsh as I first figured.
Altough tbh asking you to kill a mob that requires you to bring a lot of friends, that you can't reasonably kill more than a few times every day and that drops 2-3 items per kill... to reach 1000 for an upgrade, could potentially mean 1 year of daily dynamis runs, where you'll be the only one lotting stuff and your friends with relics won't be able to, just like they won't be able to solofarm their dyna runs etc.
Really seems a bit "too much" even for recent post-abyssea SE standards.

1000 sounds about right for a final fantasy game, reaching its final stage to its final form for a RELIC weapon........come on guys, its supposed to be hard isnt it?! its fucking lvl 99 and thats it from here on.......... if SE decide to break the 99 barrier sometime in the near future.... then wow, they just ran out of ideas....
you can just sit on 95 version if you cant have the time to do it... i dont think your anyway near gimp for that either....

as for dynamis bubu, just did 2 hours run THF/DNC + WHM doing birds on JA and WS hour(rather do WS bird since i have to WS at least 3-4 times on my thf to kill it anyway than running far to find a JA proc...), and then crab on JA hour. All DC mobs at the NE of bubu

not too bad if you ask me, if u can find another duo partner to help you, you can prolly get 25 or even 30

Killed Dynamis Lord once yesterday. He did not drop Umbral Marrow.
I'm assuming it's Arch CoP Bosses in general or specifically the high level Diaboloses. Fits with "Umbral" a bit more, considering "Umbral Diabolos" used to be a thing.
Similarly, I'm expecting the Mythic items to come from Pandemonium Warden.
Maybe in CoP dynamis, you will need to have sub job restricted and try to proc during WS time with a relic weaponskill!
Would be a fun game to speculate and see who had the most crazy idea that turns out to be the way that SE thinks.

Forgotten Touches on EP mobs: 370 singles SAM/DNC DNC/xxx Double boxed RDM/THF and 5 Forgotten Touches from Dynamis-Valkurm.
Confirming with InsaniacTHF/Helel:
Fighting DC mobs with Helel's high yield suggests that it is indeed based on the level of the mob.
Comparing with Arthars:
14 Steps but with THF/DNC-- I don't think that TH is the main contributor to this because when I simply have a THF double box, the drop rates of currency is only +25%. 143 currency killing rate with 14 forgottens is a huge ratio of kill/drops.
So it must be that the higher mobs have a much greater (more than 2x) drop rate than the lower level mobs.
I am sorry I did my fair share of farming Dynamis currency pre lvl cap increase at lvl 75 and pre dynamis changes. It wasnt that easy back then to complete a relic as it is nowadays. So while the heavy metal plates are the equivalent to the farmed currency of relics, it shouldnt repeat itself ¬.¬
I got 9 touches last night, 7 from ep shit all run, 2 from gobbues i kileld for 10 minutes.
I wonder if stagger matters or can you just mass kill.
stagger definitely isn't required for them to drop, and I don't think it ups drop rates anyway.
