If you have obscene competition, it really isn't that bad to stick at one camp and not move for JA procs either. Decent challenge mobs seem to have well over a 50% drop rate on singles with TH and no proc.
urganites are bynes mobs, efts are the 3rd coins group, and they're surprisingly squishy/not too annoying apart from the dispel move. they're just a bit of a walk. overall tho, i think bubu is the zone least able to handle too many ppl. its a hike between camps and ppl just seem to suck more there. i know the proc rate on the DC mobs is higher, but i still have a hard time seeing magic procs being better unless you'd just be standing around waiting on repops at JA mobs. even still, i think i'd go WS mobs
I go with BLU+RDM dual box + THF. Magic procs are not hard at all spamming head butt/sudden lunge/delta thrust/heavy strike + dia. I would much rather do magic procs then spend 5 minutes running across the zone just so I can do some JA mobs.
This is true too. Even if you don't proc one, you'll usually get a single anyway. Beastmen can actually double drop currency even w/o proc (EP and DC). I don't think I've seen this on a nightmare mob.If you have obscene competition, it really isn't that bad to stick at one camp and not move for JA procs either. I've poked countless magic mobs to death just from dagger strikes while spamming dia/stone on my rdm...it happens a lot more often than JA mobs. WS mobs you dont really have the priviledge since you can only really get 3, maybe 4, WS's off unless you pull a different mob to TP on, and its not really worth it.
I wouldn't do them if I didn't have two mages spamming. One is just painful to watch.
Anyway, I do NOT do bubu, nor would I ever farm currency in the zone unless I absolutely had to for xp or something. I was just pointing out the fact that the mobs are so spread out, it's more efficient to stay on the left or right side for the whole run.
If I have a magic proc mob I like to grab it with mage while fighting another still. Sleep it and just keep debuffing it lol.
Does anyone know of any good camps in dynamis windy? Ive only been farming sandy and valk non-stop. I want to switch things up a bit. I'm looking to stick with mobs that proc with JA and WS. Any info would helpful, thank you.
We camped on the bridge that leads to one of the TE's (the one that's kind of a pain to get b/c it's surrounded by 3-4 mobs or something). There's a nin, rngx2, mnkx2, thf(?), sam, drk, pld, and probably some other stuff I can't remember. The RNG on the bridge can repop as a BLM. You want to camp on the non-TE side (near the tower). These are DC mobs.
Two questions:
Can I kill Angra Mainyu as tri-box: THF, RDM, MNK - no bots or assist tools or w/e being used.
What is a wipe-proof set up for Arch Angra Mainyu? I wantz Avesta Bangles XD
I assume it's prolly been done, but has anyone done the Qufim boss as a solo BST? Only clear I never got, assuming it's possible with a good -pdt set.
What're some good camps in Dyna - Sandy?
the tunnels on either side of the AH are some of the few agg-free camps. theres a fair number of JA mobs both in front of ah and in the choco stables area. theres a lottery NM that spawns in front of AH too for a chance at silver, albeit a small one. Mega spawn is also agg free and gives access to the same group/NM. mega is also fairly easy if you sleep the orcs that spawn with him, and can drop silver also.
Wipe proof would be bringing a SMN to perfect defense and just killing him, altho that is a bit over kill considering he just falls over.
When I farmed him with my LS we brought; PLD, 2 WHM, 2 COR, 1 BRD, and 7-8 DD, when we pop'd him we were fully buffed, and just zerged the hell out of him, the fight lasted no more then a minute, no 2hrs used, on the last form when he opened with chainspell I shield bashed and it was dead before the stun could wear off.
I don't know how many you were planning on bringing but he didn't do anything overly nasty, killed two in one run with about 30 minutes left, probably most deadly of the forms is the dragon if he uses chaos blade and if he isn't dead after the first TP move he'll probably follow up with a stomp or use a song to wipe all your buffs making the last form a bitch to kill with being under buffed.
If you find yourself in a wipe situation you can easily kite him around once chainspell is over, someone with twilight being the sacrifice bitch while the rest unweak, but.. that should almost never happen as he has about 15-20k HP in his final form with paper thin defense.
