Cesti = inv-1, unless its such a low proc rate its not even noticable
I didnt bother procing attest NM's cause I'm sure the answer is no
Dont pop with adds.

Not that I'm going to purposely "hold" it to do it, I was just curious if it could happen. WAR/PLD/RDM, I'm sure a WS or spell cast on it through the course of it's death will have a chance to proc if it is proccable.
SAM/DRK/RNG
Killed this one 9 times now, never proc'd.
I am positive when we first did my Apoc trials when they were very first introduced, we procced the first Goublefaupe we did. I remember thinking 'Well this is going to be pathetically easy then!' and then being disappointed as it didn't drop 100.
We have never procced it since though. And we're talking ~25-30 kills of Goublefaupe. Individually we've done Apoc, 2x Aegis, a Ragnarok, Bravura plus get papers for Ragnarok and Excalibur (because we were stupid and tossed all the papers we previosuly got!).
So either they were proccable and now aren't. Or it's an incredibly low rate. Or they were never proccable and my memory sucks major balls.
Did some Quiebietels recently and for some reason I seem to remember staggering it. I recall being surprised that it still 2-houred when it unfroze despite having thought I saw it staggered.
But maybe my memory sucks balls, too.
Can stagger them, it doesn't seem to be as easy as a normal mob though (expected). As for the 2hr going off, Nms unfortunately can still 2hr despite being staggered, at least those ones and the ADL trigger NMs can. I haven't observed the "lite" NMs enough to know if they react the same way.
staggered the SMN ADL trigger NM a few times last night still astral flowed.
I remember staggering Quiebietel once as well while we did Horn trials.
he won't resummon?
I don't know if it will resummon (I've never stood there waiting for it to occur) but it/other Dyna SMN kind of think they are melee smn and their pets are human shields.
I can't say for certain if the PLD/SMN neo NM will resummon, but every other SMN in Dynamis does, so it stands to reason he would too. Now if you kill an avatar and silence the SMN, they can't resummon until silence wears off, but since all the little NMs in Xarc are immune to silence, I would assume the neo NMs are immune to silence as well.
Yeah they do but not super fast, can usually kill the SMN without focusing on doing so before they repop their pet
We did an ADL a few weeks ago where I attempted kiting the spare clone away from the main group by just doing AoE kaustra >> run. When I was completely out of sight of the main group, my ADL copy began the summoning animation, split, and double WS'd me. Main group says they got their copy down to around 19% then he just vanished. This was only about 15 seconds after the first split, so I'm pretty sure it was a direct result of trying to pull one away. Seems like he wants everyone to be in AoE range of all his copies or he'll rage split.
Just stumbled upon the answer to my question, a group was fighting the SMN/PLD NM and taking so long that the NM re-summoned an Avatar around 3 minutes after they killed one, eventually they wiped and we were able to finish the NM off from 30%. Kinda surprising because I thought these NM's were considered battlefields and couldn't be taken from the alliance that popped it
That's odd... I always assumed neo NMs couldn't be taken from another group (and I'm 99.999% sure neo bosses can't be taken). A time limit is stated for the popping group when they pop the enemy, so I always assumed the NMs were exclusive to the people in party when it pops.
It seems only the zone bosses, and arch zone bosses are locked in battlefield that no one can take.
The NMs are not Confrontations, I can verify that. Confrontations have a time limit and lock out other mobs from aggroing, I did Quiebitiel a few days ago to help someone get the dagger item, other Fomors linked on to him after he popped. (That was a crazy fucking fight, we won though.) So while there is a time limit, there is no confrontation status, so people would be able to claim your mob if it goes yellow.
And what the fuck, why is the mob placement so fucking shitty and random? If they are going to surround the pop spot with fomors, how about putting the kind that actually drop the pop item that you need near it? Game design really isn't that complicated.
