I been gone for about a month. I was wondering if anyone killed the HQ Arch Shadow Lord yet.

I haven't read through the pages. I know dynamis Lord doesn't drop 100 currency anymore but maybe, maybe arch shadow lord might drop a 100 peice for each currency. (M.silver,jadeshell and 100 byne). Dynamis Lord had sick offense for his time so I wanna see how badly this badboy (Arch Shadow lord) wipes people.

Someone killed HQ. Someone else got it to 30% with 3-4 empyrean DD and brd and wiped because of no PD (wiped alex during pop). There was a rapport of normal DL dropping 100.

Pretty sure Dynamis Lord does drop 100's going from the conversations in my LS. He just doesn't do it at the high rate he once did.

And someone posted themselves wearing Archon Gear and saying Sagasinger dropped from the HQ version so pretty sure that's been killed too. I think they said they Perfect Defense zerged it. They didn't mention anything about 100's though.

It still does the chainspell death shit, and as an added bonus you can't kite the Pukhis away the way you used to because your kiter will leave the BCNM area. People have successfully trio'd it, though.

Are the Goads in Dynamis - X comparable to the Fortune Parchments in Dynamis - Beaucedine? So they drop from the respective jobs? What about the ambiguous ones?

Just fought Taquede (MNK/DRG) in Dynamis-Beacedine to try and finish off a HQ pop set but he's a tiny bit rapey. Uses Hundred fists multiple times and hits like a truck. Went 0/2 then gave up and did other stuff.

Worth noting that gravity and bind do land on him but BLMs had a really hard time trying to stick it, perhaps bringing a rdm along would be beneficial and DDs can just gtfo and kite him every time he 2hrs.

Either that or just get an Ochain PLD.

I had no idea he was bindable, wow. He's really not bad other than hundred fist spam. So bind would probably make him easy.

I believe I have a working theory on proccing mobs in Dynamis. I noticed a small pattern when I was solo farming in Dynamis-Xarcabard. Here's what went on.

Day was Iceday. I was fighting RDM and PLD placeholders for Duke Berith and Marquis Sabnak. I killed 2 RDM mobs, then Duke Berith popped. On each of those RDM mobs as well as Duke Berith, on Iceday, I proc'd Red !! (I had all 5 Time Extensions killed) either using Katon: Ni or Katon: San (Fire based spell, strong vs. Ice).

After I took down Duke Berith, I moved onto PLD mobs, which is a WS proc. By this time Thundersday rolled around and I wanted to see if an elemental WS that was WEAK vs. Thunder would work. I used Blade: Yu (water based WS) and sure enough, I proc'd Red !! on the PLD.

So based on these observations, procs can be based on the current Vana'diel day. Whatever is Strong and Weak to the element of the current day. It seemed to work pretty well this afternoon.

Anyone else care to test this theory?

If the current theory of any WS/Spell/etc having a % chance to proc relative to your # of TEs holds true, then your tests (that have a very small sample size) aren't really convincing.

Has anyone fought Glacier Arch boss yet? Uncertain of what to look forward too .
