Now that the thread has been bumped, I confirmed Oneiros Cape and Vanguard Grappler's pop item drop. We're down to this!
Here are the monsters whose drops remain to be found:
Dynamis - Windurst :: Complete!
Dynamis - Bastok :: Vanguard Mason
Dynamis - San d'Oria :: Vanguard Dollmaster and Amputator
Dynamis - Jeuno :: Vanguard Pathfinder, Ambusher, and Smithy
Dynamis - Beaucedine :: Hydra Beastmaster and Thief
Dynamis - Xarcabard :: Complete!
- Need Confirmation of Arch Angra Mainyu's second (and maybe third) drop
- Oneiros Cluster is still missing from my data. I bet Cluster is from Arch Angra Mainyu as his third drop, though it doesn't make much sense to me.
Alternatively, two BST can take out any TE in any zone no sweat at all. First jugpet "suicides" the TE and grabs any links. Second jug simply asisst in killing the TE and nothing else. Should the first jugpet die to links, all of them will deaggro and in that time frame the 2nd jug pet would have killed the TE stat.
Awesome, now we just need to confirm Oneiros Cluster. It's different from many of the other Oneiros "armor-ish" items in that it's R/Ex, and he's the only boss without 3 drops... so it's probably off him. Pretty ridiculously shitty reward though.
I can also confirm that 100-pieces can drop off NQ zone bosses. We went 1/4 on the Sandy one the other day, procced at least one of his Bard helpers each time.
Can someone verify the TE locations in Jeuno? This post does not match this map on BG wiki:

Thanks guys![]()
If I had to guess, I'd say the extra TE is probably still TE-2. Dunno for sure though.
Hmm... I'll go in and check this out tonight. I've heard the zone is a mess though. Think I can one-shot TEs on BLM?
When I did jeuno:
One was at the AH, one 2nd floor of the palace, one randomly popped in front of one of the embassy, one pops on the left side of the square, where the NPC npc is, north of the Abyssea NM guy, and the last one seems to roam around the square. Sometimes was in the north side, and I also saw it on the east side later.
Byrth - If you're well-geared, yeah. I often leave them just slightly short of a one-shot since I don't have a Magian ice staff yet. If you do, Blizz5 will probably be an easy oneshot.
However, and maybe this was just the game being wonky, I've seen that you -can- still get links from oneshotted stats, since there's a small delay before they actually keel over. There's also, in my experience, usually not a good place to stand to nuke TE-4 since the plaza's pretty crowded.
If you have impact, it's very easy, since double-dark. Problem is they live for a second after killed to fall to the ground, and unless everything is looking away, they'll link gobs then.
TE-1 can wander up the stairs to the E.
TE-2 only ever seen it right where listed.
TE-4 Seems to be able to pop at the door of any embassy, I haven't seen it wander between them though.
TE-5 can be anywhere top of the palace.
Dynamis-Windy had a few mobs near the zone line to Waters, is there an easy way to get the TE on the small island without aggroing the 4 yags on the island and one on the bridge for a duo?
Would sleepga -> kill -> /logout work? I'm just looking to get as much time in the zone as possible to poke around.
If you can find a good place to logout. One of the more irritating things about that zone (or really, any of the cities now) is that there are next to no good places to rest. Sleepga -> kill -> invis -> run away to a safer spot -> /logout should work. As I recall, you can run east from that small island to the nearby major island and then go to the sloped part of the bridge to the immediate south, and that should be a safe spot. That's usually where I end up going when I need to /heal or AFK.
